This Is A Great Vehicle Overall — We have owned this for awhile now and done a lot of traveling the only bad at this point for me as a passenger is on longer trips the front seat gets a bit uncomfortable for me, now that maybe because of some of my health issues. Got this vehicle 8 months ago but as of today we really like the response and handling of this 2014 Escape Titanium model ,with a 2.0 Eco-boost engine and the gas mileage so far is averaging for us 27.8 MPG in the city, have to say that so far highway driving mileage is 28.8 at bottom end and 30.7 at top end, of course a lot of that depends on the habits of the driver so that can always vary. We were not looking for all the extra things in the Titanium package but with the driveability and handling of this particular vehicle we could not pass it up, we got it at a great price too. My wife can not stop smiling when she is in this SUV. We also drove a Titanium with a 1.6 Eco-boost and the 2.5L, My recommendation is go with the 2.0 Eco-boost, it is way more responsive then the 1.6 Eco-boost and the 2.5L engines. You want to have a great ride try a Escape like this one or even the SL, you will be impressed, even if you are fan of other manufacturer. We prefer the 2.0L eco-boost if you want even better MPG the 1.6 L will do that but as I stated the 2.0 has the best power of all engines available in the Escape.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Great handling, Nice engine power, Good suspension ,security, reliability

Cons: Prices, comfort of front passenger seat on longer trips could be better

Next To Our Convertible Mustang, its The Most Fun Ford We`ve Owned — As with each different vehicle we`ve purchased over the past 40+ years, there is an excitement for an initial road trip to spend a little time getting to know it. This Escape,as its very name might indicate, reminds us that we will come to enjoy it the more we are in it. It handles great ,looks sharp(we have the chrome package trim) and gives a feeling of confidence since its a 4WD. All of that and its very affordable.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: The Ford Escape is the ideal SUV for active people on the go like us .The combination of good fuel mileage and its room in the cargo area when the rear seats are folded down are a perfect match. Oh, and its a great daily commuter vehicle as well.

Cons: If anything, our 1.6 EcoBoost is a little light on towing capacity but the extra fuel mileage is worth the trade-off most days.

Luxury In An Awd — The 2014 Escape Titanium AWD is a great all season vehicle. It gets great fuel economy, handles better than most cars, and gives you a seating position higher than most traffic. The full moon roof and the automatic rear hatch make this as much fun as a convertible.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

    Pros: fuel economy, handling,

    Cons: back seat, looks

Great Little Suv — This car does the job. It has plenty of leg room and will get you down the road quite easily. I am very satisfied with the vehicle overall. I just wish the gas milage was somewhat better. it averages about 22 mpg.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Good looking car. Plenty of power. Great handling.

Cons: Cannot get over 22 miles per gallon. Cover over moon roof on the inside rattles quie often.

Best Vehicle I've Ever Owned — I traded in a Lexus 330, after spending thousands on a new transmission and engine, it was just falling apart after 130,000 miles. After owning the Escape, I'd never buy a Lexus again. The Escape out performs my old Lexus, in every way, fuel economy, power, handling, price and value. The Escape has equipment and option, that are only available on vehicles costing thousands more.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

    Pros: great handling in snow

    Cons: nothing yet

A Lot Of Car At A Good Price — Transmission down shift automatically when you apply the brakes when going down hill. That's OK if you going down a long hill but it's a bit of an annoyance when you are driving whiny back roads since to get it to shift up you need to apply the accelerator.

Pros: Comfortable to drive  - back up cam and tinted windows in the back.

Cons: Don't have any real complaints except took a bit to figure out how to sync my cell phone to the Bluetooth - using the voice command takes some time to learn to use.
