Love It — As you can see I wrecked this vehicle with only 11000 miles on it. I had a kid pull out in front of me as I was doing 65 mph and I swerved but still hit his front passenger front fender then I went air born and crashed into the embankment of a ditch then went bouncing down the rocks in the ditch. I was lucky, no major injuries and this vehicle handled like a dream. $21,900.00 worth of damages so I traded it after it was repaired even though it looked like a new one.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Very nice vehicle. Very smooth drive and ride.

Cons: I owner a 2005 Toyota 4Runner Limited before this one and I wish this one had kept a few of the 05s features such as the bracket behind the center console for holding a trash bag and the hidden compartment in the glove box.  I also have a problem with dye transfer from my jeans to the leather seats so trying to figure out what to do.  I did not have this problem with the leather seats in the 05 4Runner.  Also wish the turn ratio was better.

Great All Around Suv — Well designed and practical truck that can work for any situation. Has never had any problems and would own another in the future. It has been a great truck for work, play and ready for the mountains or beach! Never go wrong with a Toyota.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great all around practical truck, never had any issues and is good on or off road. My 3rd 4Runner and they keep getting better. Plenty of room and well designed.

    Cons: Decent gas mileage

Take The Good With The Bad, And An Extra Helping Of Good. — I've had the 4runner for about a month now, and abslolutely love the thing for its refined road manners, surrpisingly good handling for a truck-based SUV. The fuel consumption is miserable. Everytime I turn the key, I'm forced to think about gas prices...

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Capable yet refined offroad beast.

    Cons: Gas sucker...

Love This Car — I love everything about this vehicle and it is very fun to drive. For a SUV, it handles nicely and I feel very safe driving it. I love the contours that the car has and that it has plenty of leg room both in the front and back seats. Plus, it handles exceptionally in the snow! The fuel economy is mediocre but is mainly because it is an all wheel drive and the third row seat is nice but is only comfortable for children.

Pros: This car is a gem. Comfortable, Quiet compared to other SUVs, Reliable and Sporty.

Cons: The only con I can think of is with the Limited, you don't have a choice but to have 4WD all the time which affects the fuel economy.

Toyota 4runner — I have really enjoyed driving my 4Runner. Great fuel economy, comfortable with lots of options. Overall a nice reliable classic SUV. Very fun to drive! Love having the 3rd row seat option because I can accommodate up to 7 passengers.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Exterior looks, fuel economy, reliability, lots of options

Cons: No power liftgate (not an available option on 4 runners)

Great For Family. — Great SUV for the whole family without being too big. 7 person seating capacity. Third row seating allows for extra team players or child separation, when they just can't seem to get along. Sleek appearance. Comfortable interior with soft leather seats.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Spacious without being too big

    Cons: MPG

Outstanding... I Would Look To Replace It With The Same Model Someday. — I'm totally impressed with this vehicle. I love the off road capability and the V6 has plenty of low end torque... I also like the long range compared to my old FJ cruiser. I traded in my FJ and noticed it had a much smaller gas tank than the Four Runner which I think has a 23 gallon tank. The 4 runner has amazing comfort as well... I'm 6'1" tall and really appreciate the extra leg room. My wife's favorite feature is the heated seats during winter. I've taken this vehicle on some really tough trails for any 4x4 and it performed perfectly. My four runner has full time AWD, and I like this feature as well. It comes in handy when you're off road or run over a slick spot on the road.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: It has outstanding off road capability... It also has a third row of seats which the grandkids like.

Cons: Fuel economy is a little low at 20mpg, but its worth it for the comfort and passenger capacity.
