The car ran well but, the window crank came off and it appears there MAY have been some bodywork done. That said, at the correct price I might have purchase this car. I felt it was significantly overpriced in light of the issues discovered in my test drive. It did drive very well.

Overall, Id Give It 3.5 Stars. Australian Cl 5 Speed Manual 5 Dr Hatch. — I think the build quality is acceptable. No rattles or squeaks and nothing has fallen off yet. Mazda 2 comes out of Thailand also and no complaints about them. Very good acceleration and fuel consumption but much improved with the addition of a 2 inch Magna Flow Exhaust. Best fuel consumption figures[Australian] 15.6 kpl city cycle E10 95. Highway, 18kpl. Exhaust probably helps. First log book service very good. $160 [not dealer] with Valvoline 5w30 FE Synpower, although the oil and filter were on special. More probably at a later date. EDIT:: Have rectified the seat problem with 2 cable ties and have changed to Penrite 5w40 at last oil change. Going to try Nulon 5w30 at next one. All of these oils equal or exceed Fords specifications.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Good looks. low maintenance cost. Good brakes considering rear drums. Good safety. 7 air bags, stability control. Reliability good so far although only just over 12 months old. acceptable ride with continental tyres.

Cons: Only 12 month warranty on battery. Not good enough. Car could be lighter. Driver seat has to be continually pumped up. Slight over rev bet I can live with it. Dont know why manufacturers have to have this annoying feature not just in this vehicle, but in others as well. ECU must think youre going to snuff the thing. Very hard sometimes to do smooth gear changes. Still has timing belt though change interval is 150,000klms.

Economy And Fun. — I found nothing negative about this vehicle. It does what it is advertised to do, and has had no issues at all. The mostr reliable car I have ever owned, and I have had many in my 80 years of life.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Good handling and mileage

Cons: none

The transmission is a manual that is shifted automatically. A little jerky at low speeds. Takes some getting use to. Got 38.1 mpg on my first tank. Excellent car for the money.

2013 Ford Fiesta SE Hatchback Review
Jonathan says:
Fun to drive but lacks day to day practicality. Confusing controls, lack of second aux power, tight rear seats, and an overall dark cabin also hinder me from putting this on my buy list. expensive options drive up the price tag and make the overall package undesirable. Combine that with many owner complaints the virtues are lost on this otherwise awesome little car.

Power Ranked 2013 Toyota Prius c Two worse.
"The fiesta feels light on its feet without feeling unstable and easily accelerates. The Prius is adequate but the fiesta has more oomph."
Handling Ranked 2013 Toyota Prius c Two worse.
"The wider wheels and tires on the fiesta give it a more grounded feel. "
Looks/Style Ranked 2013 Toyota Prius c Two worse.
"The Fiesta is very eye catching and attractive from every angle. The Prius C could have won if not for the odd regular Prius styled pieces, such as the signal light design. "
Front Seats Ranked 2013 Toyota Prius c Two better.
"The Prius C seats are supportive and ergonomic without being too squishy. Not overly comfortable but theyll keep you cradled. Fiesta has decent seats but the back and the seat cushion feel too narrow. "
Back Seats Ranked 2013 Toyota Prius c Two better.
"The Prius Cs back bench seat is plenty deep for taller occupants and offers very comfortable headrests while providing decent leg room and great hip room. "
Cargo Capacity Ranked 2013 Toyota Prius c Two better.
"The bumper height was the key here. The Prius offers a near flush load floor plus an easy lift in height."
Family Car Ranked 2013 Toyota Prius c Two better.
"The Prius has the fundamentals of a family car: Practical, Affordable, Reliable, and easy to clean. If youve ever had to clean melted wax crayons out of upholstery the Prius has a more durable fabric than the Fiesta plus fewer weird crevices for gummy bears to get lodged in. "
Value Ranked 2013 Toyota Prius c Two better.
"Reliability and Resale value all day for the Prius but its more than that. The superior fuel economy also aids in making it a more compelling option. "
Would Buy Ranked 2013 Toyota Prius c Two better.
"The Prius C has been reliable, affordable, and easy to live with. While it may not be the most exciting vehicle I appreciate a vehicle thats dependable. Easy choice for me. "
