Beautiful Vehicle and gorgeous interior. Not as reliable as other luxury cars in the same platform.

My top concerns were safety, durability and comfort. I am a very active 64 70 year old, so for safety and comfort... size matters as does the magnetic ride control, lane change warning and great leather seats! As to durability we own a 2001 Denali with 300,000+ miles and still going strong...basically the same vehicle underneath as this 2013 Escalade. With 86,000 miles on our well care for 2013 new Escalade it is just getting broken in.

Big Enough For Everything I Have To Do, But Ugly And In The Shop Too Much — I think this car is OK. It was not my first choice looks-wise, but others talked me into it because it is a luxury car yet could haul all the people and cargo I need. However, it has been back to the dealership no less than 4 times in the past 2 years for leaks and recalls, which defeats the purpose of its usefulness. What good is it if it can do the job when it wastes my time putting it in the shop so oftern?

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: BIG

Cons: Let's face it, it's a truck and it's ugly.  All the chrome is like putting lipstick on a pig.

2013 Cadillac Escalade Luxury 4WD Review
GuruZPQ9Q says:
This review is really about at Cadillac CTS. I was looking for a nice AWD sedan and considered this car in the 3.6L AWD configuration only. Interior was OK, but not even close to the Audi in this review and while the power was adequate, nothing compared to the 420hp of the Audi.
