This car was complete garbage. I wasted 500$ in Uber to get to the dealership outside of Houston. From Austin. The pictures are deceiving. Sticky dash.,headlight was out, every wheel was curbed, cigarette burns all in the interior. There was more than normal wear and tear for a 12 year old car. Not to mention whoever had the car previously had a system installed and when they traded in they cut the wiring so none of the speakers worked. Also a huge cut in the steering wheel. I told them there’s no way anyone’s buying this car and that it’s going to auction. I got out of that dealership immediately. AND THEY WANTED 10k. YIKES!!May 25, 2024

As a long time Toyota driver, Lexus IS 250 offers good value, slow depreciation, a durable build, and a timeless design. Very professional cars, and give you more features standard, like keyless entry, and garage opener buttons, unlike German luxury cars, in which you have to pay extra for these. My only complaint would be the IS 250 is a little boring, heavy and inefficient for a V6, compared to a similar size Audi or BMW which has much more output and better gas mileage in both their 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder configurations.Oct 09, 2020

I really enjoyed my 2009 IS 350. Ride was a little harsh. Around 2011, Lexus figured out how to get the suspension more comfortable and my 2012 ISF actually has a better ride. Love the acceleration but now that I am used to it, I would like even more. The bembro breaks squeel on occasion which can be annoying. I'm guessing maintenance will be more expensive than my old IS 350.Jul 08, 2014

It's the perfect combination - Family Car meets Race Car. Has the same 0-60 time as my Ferrari but flies under the Radar. I love everything about this Car and not everyone knows what it is except the Valet Drivers - they all seem to call it their dream car. Awesome easy to drive car. Blind spot is a bit hard to look out of, but backup camera helped a lot. F-Sport package with the 18-inchers and stiffer suspension makes the car handle better and look better. Interior space could be better, though.Mar 23, 2012

Will a bad amp cause the radio to not operate?
I have a 2012 Lexus Is250, one day my car radio just completely stop working. I check all the fuse and they are fine. I check the wiring and no damages. I check for power and ground and it is good. So I thought it was the radio itself. So I order a new exact radio and still my radio is not turning on. I took it to a radio shop and he said the amplifier is bad so the radio see it is not working so it is not turning on. I did receive a code B15D0 and I look it up online and one person said the problem is the amplifier is burnt. Can someone verify this and let me know if this is the cause. Thank you.

What is hanging from underneath my Lexus IS 250 after going in for service at the dealership?
I went into the dealership for a regular service appt and after picking it up and pulling into the driveway of my house I heard a scraping sound. I checked underneath and there is a flap that is hanging down and attached to the bottom of my car. Is this part of servicing to protect my car? Could someone help? I called the dealership and they need me to go in, I just want more info about this before I go back in. Also, I want to be sure it is safe to drive.

Do I need tp replace all four tires
I was side swiped and one tire was destroyed along with the alignment. I'm told by my service writer at Lexus I need to replace all four tires. They were all purchased in May 2017. What is the policy on this issue. I understand that if i do not replace all four my drive train and others factors could be compromised. Please let me know your thoughts.
