Fun Cross Over With Luxury Features — Before I purchased my Murano I must have test drove half a dozen compact SUV and Crossovers. The Murano was the most fun to drive and most comfortable for me. I am retired so I mainly use my car to drive the grand kids around and go back and forth to the store. It was purchased just over 3 years ago and it is lightly driven with just a little over 8,000/year

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Sporty Handling
Upscale Interior
Power V6 engine

Cons: Average cargo space
Average fuel economy

A Good Mix Of Sport And Utility But Not On A Budget. — Is the perfect vehicle for a couple or small family, handled all of my in laws luggage for an airport run. No real blind spots, comfy seating, had enough room for a full patio box. Hatch was easy to operate.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great power and eveb better cargo room. Awesome exhaust sound, easy to get in despite the height and command seating.

Cons: Handled poorly, felt like it would tip over on winding roads and just not stable, burned gas like crazy.

The Nissan Murano Is A Great Choice Of Suv To A Otherwise Dull Segment Of Cars. —

Performance: With 265 Horses under the bonnet your never short of power, this near 2 tonne car can go 0-100 kmh (60mph) in under 8.5 seconds. The CVT is nice to have because there is no shudders when changing gear. the 4wd is nice to have knowing when you need it, it's there. it also sounds good too because the engine in this car is out of a 370z Build Quality: most parts of the car the build quality is outstanding, just some niggles. seems that we have only had the car for about 2 months theres nothing needed to be repaird. the center screen is going a bit crooked. Appearance: Exterior is a love or hate design. for some the design will look to blingy or glizy but for others it will be a head turner. we like it becase it's unique among other otherwise dulll suvs. Cost Of Ownership. For this murano we paid $50,000. which here in australia is very good value for what tech you get. nissan has a capped price survace which means no matter where you go, the survice will be the same price. Fun Factor: Ofcorse being an suv it's not going to be an m3 to drive. but compaired to others the 370z engion doesint make it dull to drive.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: apperance, quality, legroom, 2 sunroofs, reclininng seats in back, heated seats, power liftgate, bose sound system and Sat Nav, Value

Cons: not finding out that the back seats recline, fuel eco, price can be a bit steep for some.
