Loved the car, but dealer was running a scam…glad I didn’t send any money. Still shopping for 2011 or 2012 Mitsubishi Eclipse.GT. Have a 2009. Bought my first one in2000. Best car ever!

Decent Fun Commuter Car — Good commuter car, but a bit underpowered. Not what you want to haul kids or groceries. Looking to get another car to do those things and commute to work. Not a bad choice for someone looking for a sporty commuter option

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Looks somewhat sporty

Cons: limited power

Not Worth It. — I did like how it looked, but after making a 13 hour trip to Daytona Beach- we realized that the gas mileage was as bad as our 13 year old grand Prix. I used the Eclipse as a rental car. The blind spots were just horrendous. Riding in the car was decent, it handled pretty nicely. It was fun to drive other than the two things I didn't like.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Looked good.

Cons: Super bad blind spots, awful highway fuel mileage.

Awesome Car I Own 2 —

I like everything about these cars. The looks, the power, the 650 watt Rockford Fosgate stereo. There are plenty of aftermarket parts out there too in terms of power adders or looks if that is your thing.. My GT Spyder came with a factory aero kit and beautiful 18" anthrocite wheeels STOCK.. along with a beautiful engine compartment, billet aluminum racing pedals, custom- looking leather seats, HID headlights, etc etc..the list goes on...This car needs absolutely NOTHING. All details were addressed. It is gorgeous right from the factory! This is such a relief because I'm getting tired of buying wheels, body kits, custom engine parts, etc to make a car look good and be unique. Both cars handle great. The GT Spyder handles a little better than th GS because of the upgraded factory suspension and shocks and it is lower to the ground. Not afraid to get on it in the twisties. Since it is lowered, is also looks amazing. I've owned 4 Camaros, and have a Corvette. My 06 GS is the tightest car with absolutely no rattles or squeaks even though I added headers, exhaust, and intake. Seats in both cars are very nice and comfortable. I fit perfect in these cars. I am 5'7". Oh and forgot..LOVE the blue led gauges at night. The Spyder's top is an amazing show to watch as the trunk and rear window lift and the top stows away. Best warranty in the auto industry even though I haven't used it once in 7 years. These cars are built right. Modern styling... compliments everywhere I go with both cars. LOVE THEM!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: I own TWO of these and not one complaint. Love them both! My 06 GS is a gorgeous UVBlue that gets decent gas mileage (26mpg) when I drive under 80.At 95, 000+ miles it is the most reliable car I have ever owned. I drive it every day back and forth to work 31 miles each way. Not one single issue. I feel as though my GS will easily see 6 more years of use. Plenty of room for groceries, large bags, and even fit a huge cypress bush with the rear seat down when I was landscaping. My GS is lightly modified and the power is very good along with the 650 wat stereo and sunroof, it is the perfect commuter car with the most durable paint and body I've ever sen when it comes to rock chips. The car still looks brand new.  I love it so much that I purchased  a beautiful black 2011 Spyder with leather interior. A rare car indeed. This one will smoke the tires at a blip of the throttle and easily outrun most cars on the road. Even smoked a Harley bike.

Cons: I have no cons... maybe the back seat? Plenty of cargo room in the coupe. Even with the 10" sub in the back.

Powerful And Beautiful Car — I have had this car or over a year now and I'm so happy with it. It is a very cool car to drive, it responds quickly and efficiently to my driving and its engine make it very powerful and fun to drive. I would drive it every day, all day long if I had the time !

Pros: Powerful, reliable, easy to drive

Cons: No sun roof
