Very good car. A lot of value for the money. Roomy, very comfortable, and handling is great. Highly recommend, and will definitely consider another of the same model only newer when needed.

Overall:

Best Car I Have Ever Driven — I love that this car has the capacity of a large SUV but handles like a car. It has all the bells and whistles with some great features that were pleasent surprises. I rate thins better than other crossovers and SUVs I have driven and it is about $10,000.00 less to pruchase. I prefer to back into parking spaces now because the camera is so useful.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Space, cargo capacity, convenience, great handling, very nice amenities, high tech infrustructure, price.

Cons: Haven't found any yet

2011 Ford Flex Titanium Review
RussBarnes says:
Moving from an Accord to the Flex was a huge step up for us. The only thing the Honda did better was mpg. The Flex has more space, features and style in our eyes.

Power Ranked 2018 Ford Explorer XLT better.
"Not sure, but it seems to accelerate better than the Flex. I didnt compare factory specs, but the Explorer feels like it has more torque, or maybe an improved transmission design."
Handling Ranked 2018 Ford Explorer XLT better.
"I think the taller tires help the handling, plus the Explorer is 3 wider for a better grip. "
Front Seats Ranked 2018 Ford Explorer XLT better.
"The mock Swede seats were too soft, got dirty too easy and were hotter than the leather in or Explorer."
Back Seats Ranked 2018 Ford Explorer XLT worse.
"In the Titanium there was a cooler/freezer between the seats that we miss and the padding and support felt better."
Cargo Capacity Ranked 2018 Ford Explorer XLT better.
"Its minor, but in the rear there is more room behind our dog crates for two portable coolers than with the vertical rear hatch of the Flex."
Family Car Ranked 2018 Ford Explorer XLT worse.
"For a family, the power folding seats, cooler/freezer, five sun/moon roofs, headrest entertainment units and lower height of a Flex for children would be better - IF YOU CAN AFFORD THE TITANIUM OPTION."
Value Ranked 2018 Ford Explorer XLT better.
"Basically because there are so many more Explorers on the road, it shows acceptance and to get all the features ours had required the Titanium package. "

2011 Ford Flex Limited AWD with Ecoboost Review
GuruTB8DY says:
Seriously the best car I have owned. I loved my 5.0 mustangs but needed a family car for vacation & car pool. The flex Ecoboost is phenomenal. My Flex has rescued my friends in snow storms up in Mammoth Mountain when their 4 wheel drive got stuck as well all car pool duties for 6 kids to and from school. Love my Flex.

Handling Ranked 2008 Toyota Sienna XLE AWD worse.
"The handling of the Flex is fantastic - the car is big & solid hanlding in all weather. My mini van was good but not as good as the Flex. "
Front Seats Ranked 2008 Toyota Sienna XLE AWD worse.
"The Flex seats are absolutely more comfortable than the Mini van. Flex has great visibility vs the mini van. "
Back Seats Ranked 2008 Toyota Sienna XLE AWD worse.
"The back seats are very comfortable. "
Cargo Capacity Ranked 2008 Toyota Sienna XLE AWD worse.
"Great flexible cargo capacity! Lumber, mirrors, luggage, skis, snow boards, beach chairs & wheelchair. Drives like a dream. "
Family Car Ranked 2008 Toyota Sienna XLE AWD worse.
"The Flex is flexible for families & easy to drive. It is longer than the mini van but more powerful. Great to drive, plenty of engine power and a comfortable ride. We can take luggage for all 5 of us & still have room to be comfortable. "
Value Ranked 2008 Toyota Sienna XLE AWD worse.
"I would have paid $$ double for my Flex. My Toyota mini van was the most expensive to repair. My Flex has been awesome! "
Would Buy Ranked 2008 Toyota Sienna XLE AWD worse.
"I would buy my Ford Flex again. "
