This is the second Ford Escape Ive owned. I had a 2006 Ford Escape when I was 19 (2009) and loved it. This Ford Escape is great in that it has the sport look to it and not the new, modern slick design of the new Ford Escapes (they look like bigger Ford Focus). Over all the vehicle is great. Better features would have been better storage under the paneling in the back but it works. This vehicle was sold at $5000 to me and it was of great value, even though there are still some things amiss with it. The great thing about Fords though is that, regardless of your make and model, they are insanely cheap to fix and are perfect vehicles to work on by yourself if youre in a financial pinch.

This is my second escape, i bought this after trading in my 05 limited. I loved that car so much I went escape again but with a different powertrain trying to get better gas mileage as my commute has gotten significantly longer

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Nice reliable ride for the price.  No real frills, but don't miss them

Cons: AC not working right now
Stock speakers are terrbile

Nice And Comfortable — I'm not happy with the lackluster engine. It just feels like Ford dropped the ball in that area. And no backup sensor/camera. But overall it's a decent vehicle for travelling or driving locally. It's a good, reliable family car.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: I love this style Escape. My main reason for buying this was for shuttling the kids to different activities. The interior is very nice.

Cons: No backup camera or sensor. The pickup power for a V6 could be much better. I feel like it's a 4-cylinder car.

A Great Small-sized Suv, You See Them Everywhere, And Now I Know Why. — This is by far the most popular car I have seen on the road. You can't go anywhere without seeing one. I hate what they did to the current gen, making it a Focus, and decreasing the amount of power. Second gen (2008-2012) is the best. They've been a Consumer's Report best buy since they came out. Cloth seats are a little hard, but they are many companies making seat covers for them due to their popularity. Get the 3.0L V-6, 240 horsepower in something this size makes for a fun cruiser, and you can get 27 MPG!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: A great family car. Lots of ways to turn in into whatever you need with excellent aftermarket support.

Cons: Not the smoothest ride out there, but it's an SUV, not a luxury car.

This Car Is Excellent In All Aspects. — I loved driving this car very much. It is roomy and drives very smoothly and is very quiet. It has been well maintained and has never had to have any repairs done to it. Great sporty family car to own.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Sporty looking, very comfortable bucket front seats, roomy back seats with plenty of head room. Gorgeous interior that is like brand new. Exterior body is immaculate. I get very good gas mileage for this model and I drive both slow country roads and highway miles and I range 24-26 mpg on every tank of gas. Clean car fax report, no accidents. Very comfortable and quiet ride.

Cons: Only one tiny scratch on exterior passenger side handle of door.
