Roomy cab that offers amenities, comfort, and room. The truck handles very well and has great suspension. The bed covers offer protection from the elements, security and best of all can be easily and quickly removed. The fold down back seats, and removable rear window result in a full size bed whenever needed- until then you have a full back seat with lots of room for three passengers! Engine power is adequate, but not excessive and is for anything a typical user would require to include towing. The vehicle gets somewhat better gas mileage than a full sized traditional truck and offers 4/8 cylinder idling when not under full loads. Four wheel drive control is automatic but can also be made to operate full time as desired. All in all we found the Avalanche to be perfect for our needs.

This truck came loaded with everything you could ask for including satellite radio, navigation, DVD system, etc. Its by far the best and most loaded truck Ive purchased so far. The deal I got was great and the help with Car Gurus telling me that it was a good deal based on market value was a great selling feature. It is comparative to a fully loaded 1500 truck

Love My Avalanche — The utility of this vehicle is awesome. Take your family on vacation or build a deck, this truck can handle it. Very comfortable interior. Easy to transition to pickup for hauling stuff. I don't like how the remote start works, having to lock the doors before hitting remote start. Chrysler handles this better.

Pros: Cargo carrying
family carrying
spacious
Sounds great
Great looking vehicle

Cons: The fuel economy really is terrible.
Remote start isn't user friendly

Have Never Enjoyed A Car Or Truck As Much As I Do My Avalanche — Fun to drive and feel safe. Braking, handling, and acceleration good. Don't know what my MPH is and don't care. I did not buy it for fuel milage. Blind spot when backing, but who cares it has a rear camera. Rear cargo area stays unbelievably dry.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Rides and handles like a great family car, but it can be a truck.

Cons: Don't really need the 31 gallon fuel tank. I think 20 gallons would be sufficient.

2011 Chevrolet Avalanche LS 4WD Review
Jason says:
Drove a 2014 Jeep Cherokee. Decided that after owning a 2007 Avalanche. We were debating mileage size etc. Went with the Avalanche. Bigger engine, more room interior for front and back seat. Loose a bit of cargo..... however with the Amazing hard cover on the Avalanche. Avalanche won on all counts. Now own 2
