All new for 2010, the Lexus RX 350 features a refreshed exterior design, a more powerful engine, and a number of new technologies introduced for the first time in any Lexus vehicle. Now in its third generation, the 2010 RX 350 luxury utility vehicle (as the automaker refers to it) maintains its same basic exterior shape and car-like platform. Exterior updates include a revamped inverted trapezoid grille, angled headlights, a sharply designed shoulder line, and a more aerodynamic shape overall than the previous year's version. The 2010 RX 350 also receives sportier 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels.
Under its hood, the 2010 RX 350 comes equipped with an improved 3.5-liter V6 engine, which produces 275 hp, an increase of 5 hp over the previous year's engine. In addition, the V6 generates 90 percent of its peak torque (257 lb-ft) at a low rpm range, which helps to improve acceleration. The engine utilizes a dual Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i) system, which fine-tunes intake and exhaust valve timing throughout the rpm range. This helps improve fuel efficiency, lower exhaust emissions, and optimize power in all driving conditions, according to the automaker. The V6 links to a six-speed automatic electronically controlled transmission with manual shift and snow modes.
The RX 350 comes in a base front-wheel drive and an AWD trim equipped with an Active Torque Control all-wheel-drive system, which helps improve traction and stability in all driving conditions. Both trims ride on a revamped suspension designed for improved agility and control, as well as passenger comfort. Thanks to the the redesigned suspension system, the RX 350 offers five percent more cargo space than the previous year's version.
Lexus-first technologies include an optional Hard Disk Drive navigation system with an all-new Remote Touch controller, located on the center console, which operates similarly to a computer mouse. Drivers can customize the controller to provide the appropriate level of feedback. In addition, the RX 350's optional navigation system includes a new casual voice-recognition system, which acknowledges conversational commands. The vehicle's standard XM satellite radio now includes XM NavTraffic and new NavWeather features.
Both trims seat five passengers comfortably in a spacious cabin with a "dual-zone cockpit" design. New for 2010, the dual zones include an operation zone, which provides the driver with a wide range of information accessible through an optional steering-wheel-mounted multi-information switch and the Remote Touch navigation controller, and a display zone, which includes an 8-inch navigation display set back in the dash to ensure optimal visibility. In addition, an optional Heads-Up Display, which projects information on the windshield, uses high-intensity LEDs so the display can be easily read even in direct sunlight.
Standard features in the 2010 RX 350 include 10-way adjustable power front seats, reclining and sliding rear seats, wood trim on the dash and center console, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, Bluetooth wireless connectivity, and a nine-speaker audio system with a 6-CD changer. Options include leather seats, a power tilt-and-slide moonroof, a power cargo door, and a DVD entertainment system.
The RX 350 also comes equipped with a full range of airbags, including side-curtain roll-sensing and front side seat-mounted airbags, as well as four-sensor antilock brakes. Other standard safety features include a Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management system, which integrates the vehicle's stability control, antilock braking, hill assist control, and traction control systems. In addition, an optional Pre-Collision System uses radar technology to detect a possible frontal crash and automatically retracts the front seat belts and primes the brake assist to optimize passenger protection.

I am so happy with my car. I had a good experience with the dealership he got me $0 down payment. I will refinance in 6 months because my interest was 20 percent!!! This is my second car I had originally a Toyota rav 4 and decided to upgrade to the Lexus and it’s so luxury and easier for me to drive and the technology is a big difference from 2007 Toyota to Lexus 2010 it’s just 3 years but wow. There were no problems with my 10 RAV 4 but this 10 Lexus feels so much stronger, quieter and better looking. I enjoy the computer settings and luxury features and hope someday to adjust my clock. Maybe the latest Toyotas are safer- I like the last 5 years brought in many safety improvements and problems, but my car has a whole front bumper. Its just hard getting over owning a Lexus. Im comfortable with the CD changer, the split back seat and comfy leather. The backing up camera works fine day and night. Toyotas and Lexus are just so very reliable.Mar 15, 2023

I love the Rx 350! Although I purchased it used, I have always wanted this vehicle! I love everything about it. I have navigation, back up camera, sunroof and so much more! The color is perfect. The one thing thats funny is I havent drove it yet. Once I do I am sure I will love it even more than I already do!Sep 07, 2022

Now days people want an SUV over a sedan. So, if you like the 2010 GS 350, you will like the RX 350. Buy the AWD over the front drive model because whats the point of buying an RX 350 unless you need it for winter driving. Interior is rather plain and tech is old as well. This SUV is rock solid reliable. High mileage shouldnt scare you away if properly maintained. You buy a 2010 RX 350 because the prices are very obtainable for a very reliable SUV with some good trunk space especially if the back seats are folded down flat. Comparable SUV would be the Acura RDX. If you need a larger SUV buy the Acura MDX. What do I own? I own a Lexus NX 200t F-Sport with red interior. Smaller than the RX but has all of the bells and whistles. Much easier for my wife to drive.Jun 26, 2022

Vehicle is solidly built. Both of my brothers own the RX350. One has close to 100K miles the other close to 140K miles. No mechanical issues after all those miles. Worth the look and the price.Apr 15, 2021

The main thing I didnt like was the lousy head rest. I cant stand having my head being pushed forward. If that doesnt give one bad posture and a soar neck. How did they allow the manufactures to produce that is beyond me. Its a safety hazard if I ever saw one. This is suppose to be a comfortable ride and that head rest would cause me to remove it and have no protection from whip-lash. The car was otherwise a great ride.Apr 02, 2020

This RX350 was not my first choice but after reading the reviews and looking more closely at the vehicle it became the pick of the litter. The power delivery is smooth and the ride is quiet with very little road noise making it's way into the interior. The features offered int his model provide options for just abouot anyone. Can i just say, LOVE IT!!!! I love everything about this car. We traded our 09 Cadillac CTS4 for this vehicle. We liked the CTS, but it's so low to the ground that it makes it difficult for people to get in and out. THIS LEXUS, however, has plenty of room in the back for your passengers and I love how easy it is to get in and out of the vehicle. It was expensive, but sometimes you get what you pay for and this is one of those cases. The car is great, excellent brakes, navigation system is great, handling is very smooth, acceleration: great pick up, interior all leather, heat and cooling front seats, exterior its beautiful, it's great with gas, this car is great to drive both in the city, and on long trips. Year 2010 RX350 radio mode changes by itself
My car radio changes modes by itself. It does whole kind of drama. Such as, it turns on by itself, changes channels/goes from AM to FM or other way around, jumps to CD, CD comes out and goes back in. This ghosty magic was started after it's windshield was replaced. The guy. who replaced the windshield, did not do a good job. Top right corner of the windshield (Driver side) was not glued properly but it was not visible. In the beginning, magic used to be happened in the rain. I took it to the dealer, technician detected the problem, water used to leak from the top corner and travel behind the plastic cover (where the airbag is) and used to go in the dashboard (probably computer is there). So windshield was replaced another time. How can I fix this issue.
