In ponycar limbo since 2002, after 35 years of continuous production, the Camaro will resume its attempts to outperform and outsell the Mustang this March 16, when production will resume at GM’s celebrated Oshawa plant in Ontario, Canada. Sticking with tradition, the Camaro will be a 2+2, front-engine, RWD design, with several updates since its debut in 1967.
Available in V6 LS or LT trim and V8 SS, the Camaro comes standard with a four-wheel independent suspension system, variable-rate power steering with axle-forward rack mounting, four-wheel disc brakes, and the Stabilitrak stability control system. SS trims get four-piston upgraded Brembo brake calipers, a more aggressive tuneable suspension, and more.
A V6 and a V8 in two configurations power the upcoming Camaro, depending on transmission chosen. The V6 is a 3.6-liter engine, whose basic design has been employed in other GM models such as the Cadillac CTS, and produces 300 hp with either the six-speed manual or automatic transmission. The V8 is a 6.2-liter and gets a bit of a power boost when equipped with the manual over the automatic, 422 hp versus 400 even, respectively. Due to GM’s active fuel management cylinder deactivation, the V8 is estimated to be capable of up to 23 mpg on the highway - the V6 capable of 26.
Additionally, the Camaro’s price point puts its top-tier version at just over $30,000, which places it squarely under that of its competitors, sadly in both price and performance.

Perfect fit for larger framed, corn fed, American male drivers! The car drove like new. With only 2500 miles on it how else would it perform. As far as price it is overpriced along with every used car is due to the “computer chip shortage “. Loved everything about it when it came on the market except for the tail lights, but they grew on me. Now that I drive it, I love the car even more.
Very comfortable to sit in. The ride is a little rougher than other vehicles that I've owned recently, but none of them had the handling of this car, so the trade off is to be expected.
The rear pillars are a bit of a blind spot, but I drove an Avenger and it was worse. Plus, I have a backup camera so it helps when parking.
Could not be happier with the acceleration. The trade off in gas mileage is welcome. Still better gas mileage than some cars I've owned. I turn down the radio, because the exhaust sounds so good. I'm surrounded with air bags, so I do feel safe, and with good acceleration, handling and brakes, I feel I can avoid most accidents.
I've only had the car for a week, so I don't have much more to add right now. I can say that I would recommend it for car enthusiast. Mar 07, 2015

This car is a no compromise performance machine that has the road manners to be a daily driver. Fuel economy is acceptable and ride quality is good. The technology offered is very good for a sports/muscle car. The only thing I wish was different is the engine. Instead of a 6.2 liter with active fuel management, they should have offered the 5.3 liter without AFM.Mar 06, 2015

Its obvious that this Camaro is a beauty but what surprised me is how comfortable it is considering that I'm a fairly big guy. The maintenance is pretty much like any other vehicle in my opinion. This is my dream car. It looks, sounds and handles GREAT! The 424 hp 6.2 liter V8 gives this car a lot of power. I made a lot of mods to this car to improve the looks and power.

The Camaro is a great car to have. It can be appreciated by those of all ages and of both gender. The car boasts an impressive 304hp out of a V6 motor with the help of direct injection. This helps the car achieve 29mpg highway as well. For a reasonably priced car, it handles like a dream. It is a blast to take through tight corners and long sweepers. It feels planted. The 2010 Camaro 2SS/RS is a great car to own, and use as a recreational vehicle. It does have good storage space in the trunk, and the back seats fold down for longer storage items if you need it, but I wouldn't recommend it as a daily driver. It's too nice. This car is meant to haul a$$. It does have a hook up for a car seat, but I would not want to put a baby in this car unless you want to give it whiplash. This car has lots of power and is built to move. It's great if you live in an area with wide open roads that are in good condition, and not a lot of cops. Then you can really enjoy this car, and push it to it's limits. If you live where there is tons of traffic, and crappy roads full of sand, rocks, and pot holes then this is not a good car for you. I love love love this car! It looks awesome inside and out. Great get up and go with even a V6. front seats are very comfy and it feels so sporty. It corners and hugs the curves wonderfully. It responds immediately when you turn the wheel. The braking system is also amazing. You don't need a whole lot of room. If you need to slam on your brakes you stop! Car is a blast to drive and gets plenty of looks everywhere I go. Has plenty of power but also weighs quite a bit. It feels very solid and responsive, brakes are excellent, holds the road well for it's considerable weight. Small windows make visibility a little low, combined with a large car makes it hard to park sometimes. Back seats are tiny and not very useful for a full size adult, better for kids or not used at all. Maintenance is just like any other car except this one takes Mobil 1 synthetic and a lot of it, expect to pay $100 or more for an oil change and service at the dealer.Feb 03, 2012

Beautiful vehicle which Chevrolet did a great job building and delivering for me (factory ordered with all the options)! Great fun to drive and can really move on the open roads. I never found the top end on this car's power. Performance: This is definitely the fastest car I have ever driven.
Quality: I haven't had any problems in the 40k miles I have put on it so far.
Appearance: This car looks so good it's almost pornography. Definitely a head
turner.
Cost of Ownership: Gas mileage is ok. You can drive fast and get 8 MPG, or
drive reasonably and get 25. Up to you. Me, I get around 20.
Fun Factor: Absolutely. Handles great, engine sounds amazing, seats are

Performance- Acceleration is awesome, with the grunt to put you back in your seat every time you put your foot down. The brakes could have come with some better fluid, and connecting lines so when on a race track they don't boil.
Build Quality- This car is put together very well. The fit and finish on it is incredibly good. I do wish that the materials used on the inside, like whats found on the Malibu.
Appearance- What else can i say but SEXY. Its the best looking pony car out of these new models. Its built to look like a pony car, but its also the only one built that actually fits in with all the modern cars. The others i think are a little far behind.
Cost of Ownership- So far the only money i have had to put into it is the annual service for it.
Fun Factor- Great fun for the price. Can put a grin on my face even after owning it for 2 years.Aug 28, 2011

This car is fun! The LS3 has incredible power and torque and is extremely responsive. I was surprised at how well it handles given its weight (3800 lbs) due to the independent rear suspension. The car is beautiful on the inside and outside, Chevy really did well combining both modern and classic art to make this machine. I've had 0 problems with the car so far although it doesn't like ice at all but I blame that on my summer tires. My favorite part of this car is the ease of upgrading, they give you plenty of room in the engine bay to do just about anything without breaking your back by having to remove a dozen items just to install one new one. So far I have installed a cold air intake, cat-back exhaust, and long tube headers with the headers taking the longest at 3 hours. The one drawback about this car is that it's heavy. If you're looking for a race car the camaro isn't for you, although this car can handle its own on the track.Dec 24, 2010

The performance on this cars is great. Excellent acceleration, braking is good and it

is well put together, as well as the exterior. The slick body on this car looks nice.
The cost of this car is priced well. It doesn't cost a lot of money to fill up the tank
