I actually have the uk spec Rio chill 1.5 diesel, and this car is brilliant. Loads of low end power, very easy and comfortable to drive, and is brilliant for overtaking. It has a couple of rattles, but it's a very good car overall. Very quiet, and masses of space.Aug 11, 2009

Car doesn't start immediately after getting gas?
Hi. My 2009 Kia Rio won't start right after I get gas. On the second or third try it starts but I have to floor it to get it to stay on. Then it's fine for the most part until I get gas again? Occasionally I get fumes while driving or the first start in the morning. Also the last time I filled my tank gas came back out like a waterfall after the gas pump had shut itself off but before I took it out??? Would this be the purge control??
