Love it. Sporty enough for a 16 year old but keeping to a budget. Works also.

For the size of the car it actually has a lot of room. Accessories buttons easy to reach. Lot of compartments. And fuel economical. Doesnt have a lot of power but I dont have a heavy foot.

Websters defines greatness as quality of being great. Its like they had the 2009 Honda Fit in mind when they wrote that. In seven years of ownership Ive had zero issues, consistently got great mileage (much higher than official estimate), and was able to fit everything from a dishwasher to about 500 lbs of grass sod without any problems.

Great Car For Around Town And Long Drives — Very dependable car. The vehicle is great around town and can fit almost anything I back. A lot of head room and visibility when traveling. Fits into tight spaces and easy to parallel park. Great first car or just a to safe on gas.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great gas mileage.  Hatchback easy to move things.  Seats fold flat to make travel easy.  Low maintenance cost

Cons: Can only fit 6'7" and under.  Not great for large families.  Need snow tires for winter.

Awesome Gas Mileage, But Not Comfortable — I purchased this car new in Dec 2008 for the purposes of commuting to work 84 miles one way. It was fine for a few years, but I need something more comfortable now. This car is fine for someone that is driving in the city (on smooth roads), or short drives on the highway. The car is very attractive and sleek, but this look comes at a cost of an inefficient A/C on long trips in the summer. The biggest problem with this car is the awful ride with the low profile tires. You will feel every bump in the road. Never again will I get these kinds of tires on any vehicle. These wheels look 'cool', but ruin the ride.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fuel economy is amazing.  Almost 42 MPG highway at 60mph on flat ground.  Cargo capacity is surprising with back seat folded down.

Cons: Sport version has low profile tires and makes car ride like a buggy.  I get a numb backside if I drive it more than an hour.  The design of the windshield allows too much sun to 'bake' the interior of the car.  The A/C cannot keep up on long trips in the summer.  I drove 4 hours in August and nearly sweated to death.  I took the car in the the dealer to inspect the A/C, but found nothing wrong.  I researched online and found this to be a common issue with the 2009 Fits.  We also own a 2008 and design of windshield is totally different, no problems with the 2008 Fit.
