The car is great!!! But it would be great if it had an automatic screen and also an automatic start option which allows to start the car from a distance.

Great Truck To Own — Bought it because of the gas efficiency and very roomy. Great trunk space for storing. Back seat reclines about halfway back. Great handling and brakes. Gas mileage are mainly highway miles. Hasn't been in the shop yet only for regular maintenance (oil change, recently changed tires about 3 months ago). Overall a great truck.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Gas efficient, low maintenance costs, roomy.

Cons: Don't really like the color

Excellent Large Family Car Without The Driving A Tank Feel !!!! — All around if you have a larger family you can't go wrong with the 2008 highlander. Easy to drive. Safe with the side curtain air bags. Plenty of power. Good MPG. Lots of interior seating space. Stow and go walk through seating keeps the kids off the 2nd row of seats and if you need more seating just pull out the other seat. Use Synthetic oil and you will have it for years. I have a hitch attachment that I can put on for long trips that add storage if needed. All around Excellent SUV.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Great over all SUV.  4 wheel drive works great.  Great power.  Very safe family car.  Easy to fit 4 kids or 5 into the vehicle.  Walk through seat is the greatest for kid and snow/dirt doesn't get on your seats.  I wouldn't want to try and get to the 3rd row as an adult but the kids love it.  It has the room for a family of 6.  2nd row seats adjust fwd and aft that helps with leg room.  Im  6'2" and love the comfort.

Cons: Storage behind the 3row seat is small but the fuel milage and maneuverability makes up for it.  Had a Sequoia and its a safe tank that is hard on gas and hard to park.  This is a lot nicer around town.

Brilliant — The feel of my Toyota Highlander is a new drive experience especially for someone that had experienced driving of other brands of vehicles. The Highlander is a confirmation that Toyota is an enviable brand amongst car makers. Ma Toyota is Fantastic...

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: I love it's elegance and balance on the road.

Cons: Nothing is unsatisfactory to me about the car presently.

Perfect Blend Of Quality And Durability With Entertainment — There was alot to like about this vehicle, and nothing to dislike. The only dislike was this is not a performance car, but hey, its an suv. Whether it is for the family or for a traveling couple like us, or even your typical city man/woman, this was a great vehicle to own and an even better bucket of bonus' and entertainment.

Pros: This is an amazing comfortable vehicle. We purchased this two 1/2 years ago at 3,000 miles and have used it this time for traveling. It rides like a car but feels like your built tough like a truck. The amenities that came with this car is a suprising alot! The space and comfort it provided for trips has also been very good. It has made an excellent companion. There has been zero issues mechanic or electric. Constant 22 mpg Avg and 24-25 Mpg Highway.

Cons: It is not a hybrid

Hot! — It is my dream car. Fun to drive, passengers love it too because its comfortable and has individual heated seats and back row controls for heat and ac. The styling is fantastic, it is a great looking car inside and out. I live in Illinois and it handles all the horrible weather we get. Wondergul handling, killer sound system, I love, love, love my Highlander!

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: I love everything about this car!

Cons: Nothing!

Value Conscience Suv — Highlander Sport is a well-rounded vehicle with good mileage. Does everything well. Very good value, redesigned for 2008. Downside is that it is alittle bland. Fit and finish is excellent. I would recommend this vehicle if you want the most bang for the buck

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: value

Cons: little bland
