Great Family Car. — We have driven a Buick for quite a few years and purchased this one to get the newer digital Onstar and newer style. We like the way it rides and handles on the road. Very nice ride. Comfortable seats. Decent gas mileage. Powerful enough engine for me.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Great looks. Great ride. Decent gas mileage.

Cons: Could get better gas mileage.

Luxury Ride At Moderate Cost — Above average price, compared to well above average comfort and convenience features and excellent fuel economy. I recommend this sort of Buick to any family driver. The standard 3.8 liter V6 engine and OD transmission are terrific in day to day driving.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Excellent ride comfort

Cons: Nothing

Great Car — I was looking for an economical, luxurious, dependable, stylish car and found it with the Buick Lucerne CXL. The V6 has plenty of power and good mileage for longer trips. The only complaint I have is the driver's seat and the other seats, for that matter, are built for smaller people than my wife and me. There is little room to maneuver once you sit and strap in with a seat belt. That gets a little old on a 600+ trip. Overall, a good family car, a great addition to my little 'fleet'.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Great looks, above average handling and fuel economy and plenty of features

Cons: Seats are not as comfortable as I would like, especially for long trips

A Nice Ride! Comfortable, Quiet, Dependable — Excellant highway mileage. 26 around town. Roomy, quiet, comfortable. Standard 3.8 litre has lots of get up and go. The car only requires regular oil changes. Never needs repairs. Lots of trunk space. Automatic rear load leveling. Great 4 year bumper to bumper warranty. Love this car.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: fuel mileage 38 mpg hwy (imperial)

Cons: turning radius when tight parking

Buick Runs As Good As Its Swiss Title. — i reallly did not like the tail... it reminds me of a vw phaeton. the new series III 3800 is much better. the firewall is further back from the 2-4-6 sparkplug bank. it is much easier to work on. props on that.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: low price right now12-08... a great deal and roomy car.  strong american car w/ good mpg.

Cons: copy cat tail.  not very accessible trunk.. only pass-thru in backseat.
