Too big and heavy. Very roomy and comfortable seating. You have to go for the 4.2L as the 3.6L in this chassis body just wont cut it.

The best car I ever had for family drives. Big enough for family trips, comfortable enough for a daily driver, and cool enough for cursing the town.

"The grill and the styling cues are just unique enough to turn heads and classic enough to not be faddish."

Built By Audi At A Time When Seven Seat Cars Became The Rage, Still Rages!! — I dislike the fuel consumption, but it still is not too bad. BMW and the LR7 get fewer miles to the gallon. I love the command this car has, I truly feel safe and not taken as a mouse on the road. This was very important to me as a young mom to have my kids secure in a vehicle that could hand tough New England weather and traffic. The quality of the drive is unbelieveable, Audi gets it right as far as comfort and power. This car goes as fast as you ask it to without batting an eye.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: This car is truly splendid to drive, I'm sure you'll find few individuals that would disagree.

Cons: It's big, longest in its class.  That said it still has phenomenal turning radius.

Great Family Ride — First of all, the looks and styling of this SUV caught my eye. Once I test drove the vehicle I knew it would be my next ride. I find myself wanting to call it a car instead of an SUV because it doesn't drive like a truck. It's the best driving SUV/Corssover I've had. If there is a complaint with this car (I give up, it's a car) it would be with the car mileage. Other than that I am truly happy with the choice to buy. It hadles great, roomy, great options, (love panoramic sunroof) and everything you need for a great family ride.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: This car has great comfort and handling. It's very good for the suburban family and trips.

Cons: The gas mileage is less than stellar

Dream Car — I love this vehicle. Something I had always wanted. The features and the 3rd row seating is a must for a family vehicle. To keep this kind of vehicle maintained and careful can be costly at times. Overall thumps up.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: All the upgrade features

Cons: Cost of repairs

Fun Ride — i drove X5 and Q7. I liked the shape of Q7 and adding those extra 2 seats in the rear, is a good option. Although 3rd row seating is a tight spot, its helpful when traveling with friends for shorter distance. Timely maintenance and driving it carefully is the key to keep the car running/performing at its best. So far enjoying it. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Pros: Fun ride, good cargo space,  average fuel consumption,

Cons: big to handle

Awesome Road Vehicle — The build quality and interior quality is very high, resulting in a very comfortable, quiet and safe ride. Acceleration is surprisingly very good. Braking and handling are superb--you feel safe and secure in most all driving conditions. Repair costs are a bit high. You are fortunate if you can get 30,000 miles on a set of tires.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Handling (for such a heavy  vehicle), safety, quality,  comfort

Cons: after almost 4 years, car has been reliable but repair costs above average

Great Car But Be Ready To Pay And Pay And Pay... — Great car, some flaws that were corrected over the years. Quite expensive on gas, a diesel model would be a better choice nowadays. The ride is superb and, given the Montreal potholes that may be larger than a sink, having a solid built car is a necessity.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: confort

Cons: cost
