Ion Redline Competition — Another classic vehicle that should still be in production for those that just gotta have a weekend go fast vehicle that will put a big 'ol smile on your face every time you squeeze down that pedal. Of course this is not the car if you care about mpg's as it will not go over 30 mpg but it is a fun weekend cruiser. Best to have it tuned to run straight E85 or at least run blends with a ZZP tune and hardware setup.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: Awesome weekend car.

Cons: Tough on the wallet at the pump.

An Underdog Victory At Every Stoplight! — My first car with forced induction. This is an overall great car with many amenities. The biggest downside is the horrible resale value that comes with carrying a saturn badge. The engine is a work of art and totally makes the thrill of ownership outweigh the cons.

Pros: Great acceleration, sweet handling, very comfortable

Cons: Crazy oil pressure, generally cheap parts, horrible resale value

Most Hp For The $ — Great handling. Powerful engine (vs its contemporaries). Comes with upgraded stock components in almost every category. The best deal you could get in this market segment at the time I bought it (2006)

Pros: Crazy low end torque, great stock brakes/tires, recaro seats, minimal torque steer, decent
suspension, quad-coupe doors are very practical, great dealer support

Cons: So-so build quality, interior prone to rattles/squeaks, not as much brand cachet as
    competitors

A Very Fast Little Car! — Fun to drive, with strong throttle response and a sporty exhaust note. It comes with Recaro seats that provide comfortable support in corners. 1/4 mile: 13.7@105

Pros: sharp handling, lots of performance for the price

    Cons: some wind noise
