Sport Truck — Sharp looking truck that can haul a$$. Not as quick as the Saab 97X Aero or Trailblazer SS due to the smaller motor, but definitely a big improvement over the I6 motor. Fuel economy is about the same as the I6 in mixed (hwy/city) driving but excels on the highway due to the 'displacement-on-demand' feature that the 5.3L motor has. Not GM's most reliable product ever but not exactly in the shop every day. A lot more electrical glitches than the Trailblazer that I previously owned probably due to the differences between the shared platform.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: Big powerful motor. Stunning good looks.

Cons: Electrical glitches. Serious lack of cup holders in the front. Some drivetrain issues to look out for as well.

If You Like Saabs You'll Like This Car But You Might Not Love It Like The 9-5 Or 9-3. — Very powerful car. Gas mileage could be better. Quality is good. Fit and finish are good. Ride is stiff but road handling is really good in the curves. Very fun to drive but 5 speed would be better than the auto. Lacks cupholders but other interior finish is nice.

    Pros: Different and cool

Cons: Gas mileage and small gas tank.

Great Suv — Overall, one of the better SUV's in it's class. It's a nicer version of the Trailblazer, Envoy, etc. Seating is better, sound system as well, and in my opinion, looks a little "cooler". I need a SUV, and to my suprise, I've been getting 18.6 avg mpg, with mostly city driving!

Pros: Luxury feel, great fit & finish, nice sound system, and comfortable ride.

Cons: It is a GM product. (enough said)

Pros: comfort in every way, fast motor

Cons: engine power may leave you wanting more

    Great Suv By jimbayne

Saab made the Trailblazer better. Many components are the same but Saab lowered the SUV for better handling, added an air pump in the back. Car rides very well and looks very stylish as well. Unfort... Read More
