I like sports cars, and the SLK it definitely a sports car. I got a automatic because Im just tired of stepping on a clutch pedal in stop, and go traffic, but when this car gets room to run it will truly run. Ive caught myself doing 110 twice, and was amazed that it didnt feel that fast. Not a cross country car. The seats are barely padded, but other than that I love it.

I had an sl320 previously,loved the car,but couldnt deal with dealership sticker shock regarding maintenance and repair....I had hoped the SLK would be less demanding,but the simple fact is that the suspension often requires very expensive repairs...parts and labor can exceed the purchase price of the car...unless you are rich consider something from japan-Acura maybe!Worked for me!Jun 21, 2021

Possibly the best example of a Mercedes Benz SLK. The car ticks all the boxes, and either in the 350 or AMG55 takes a lot to beat. The 350 goes from 0 - 100 in 5.5 seconds, and tops out at 250 Kmph, which is breathtaking. The car is comfortable and easy to get into and out. In most peoples including my own the best 2 seater ever made and by far the best made by Daimler BenzMay 28, 2021

I would buy this car all over again. I've never had a car that I loved as much as this one. The main drawback, the main issue that drives me nuts (actually there are two): 1) Where the cup holder is, right in front of the air conditioning/heating vents. Very inefficient for keeping drinks cold/hot; 2) The factory radio is difficult to replace. The dealer won't touch it and so far I haven't found any other places that will take it on. It has a built in telephone that will not sync with my smart phone.
Overall, aside from the minor issues above, I love love love this car.Dec 07, 2014

This car is brutal and mean. It is so loud even without any exhaust modification. It goes from 0-60mph in just 4.3 seconds. It will grab eyeballs everywhere you drive it to with the rear diffusor and the matte finish. And it is a good summer drive being a hard top convertible. But it does nothing more than running fast and looking cool. The trunk size is OK but it is a 2 seater and you can only fit 2 people in. The suspension is VERY HARD. And you can only get averagely 14-17 mpg. In short, it only does what it was designed to do really well.Jul 19, 2013

No dislike, but a preference...a couple more inches long in the Driver's right leg room. Then again, I can resolved that with the 350 SLK AMG or the 500 SL! Otherwise, this car was an excellent purchase for me and my need to drive with the top down. Airscarf is a nice feature, but I love wearing my colorful scarfs and hat/caps, instead.Apr 26, 2013

Performance: Acceleration is great, throws you to the back of the seat
when you use the kick-down behind the accelerator. Braking is great,

It was a really fun car. The heated seats made for a fun drive on cold evenings down the coast of California. I would really rate this a 4.5 but I didn't have that option. I will definitely buy another one. The handling is so much fun. Easy and can turn around on a dime. The options make it the perfect complement for what you expect in a Mercedes. Gotta Love it! My friend even bought one after I did. What fun we had with our little side by side road trips. Cheers to Mercedes for the hard top convertible that is automatic. I like that it's not just an AMG version. The
performance is unique in ways which only Mercedes
can describe and the Looks of the car are out of this
world sexy. The cost ownership is definitely not
something to toss to the side when it comes to an
AMG. It's not a cheap car so you can't expect cheap
service. When all is said and done I couldn't have made

and metallic fleck silver. Sturdy, fast enough, daily
driver, easy to maintain, very comfortable seats, great

I had corvettes, Nissan 350, Saturn Sky, . But none of those cars can compare to the SLK 350. The cock pit has a big car fell is very roomy compared to other sports cars. ich bin mehr als zufrieden. Im Sommer absolut genial "oben ohne" zu fahren und auch im Winter kann man sehr gut damit fahren. Einzig der Kofferraum könnte etwas größer sein, ist aber kein für mich kein Problem
und ist von einem Cabrio auch nicht zu erwarten.

The best thing about this car is its very versatile. You can shove it in comfort mode, put the heated seats and airscarf on and sit back and relax your drive, or you can shove it in tiptronic and manual, turn off the ESP and have a right old riot drifting it etc. The car weighs approx 1500 kgs put the V6 3.5 litre engine churns out 270 bhp which is the equivilent of having a cosworth engine tuned to stage 1. For a car that weighs 1.5 t to do 0-60 in just over 5 seconds is extremely good,the sound from the twin pipes is also imense, maybe i'll get the V8 AMG next!!!!Jul 24, 2008
