I loved my Speed6. It was an awesome vehicle in all aspects. Plenty fast to have a good time, very practical, easy to maintain and good fuel mileage provided you keep your foot out of it.

Love This Car! — This is a sports car wearing a family sedan's clothing. It flies under the radar, and it flies quickly. The steering is very quick and precise, the power is ample and addictive, the grip is phenomenal. All that in a package that can take 5 adults and their luggage on a comfortable road trip. I hear it is pretty capable in rough weather, too. Living in California, I don't get to test that claim often.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Power, AWD, handling, nice six speed gearbox, plenty of room for five, ample cargo room, subtle good looks

Cons: Clutch engagement takes getting used to, a few scratches, dings, and worn out things from previous owner, not so great gas mileage

Extremely Fun, Safe & Pratical — Awesome build quality, paint is the best I've seen on any car, heated seats, sound system, 0-60 time is amazing, excellent handling, air bags everywhere and good braking combined with fuel efficiency and all wheel drive. What more could you want fro a family sedan?

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Very quick, AWD performs very well, very comfortable on long drives

Cons: Repairs are expensive

This Is A Very High Quality, All Around Car. — It has power and performance mixed with comfort and style. I'm 24 years old and it suits my lifestyle perfectly. I've got room to take friends with me on road trips and I've got power to hang with STi and Evo's on the expressway. The car is a sleepers dream. It's 274 factory horsepower is definitely noticeable when you want it to be. It's completely tunable and a performance bargain. These cars were so under-advertised that hardly anybody knows they're out there. The direct injection, 2.3L makes this an amazing car already, but adding the AWD and 6 speed manual to the mix really gave this car a great feel. Anybody looking for a powerful car without sacrificing comfort, definitely check into the Mazdaspeed 6.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Handles extremely well with Mazda's AWD system.  Lots of acceleration power with the K04 turbo.  The 6 speed shifts so smooth, you can really shift with 2 fingers and the shifter just falls into the next gear.  The tight suspension lets you feel grounded and comfortable on any road in any weather condition.  The Grand Touring model has the fabulous smart key design and heated leather seats for those colder winter days.  5 star safety rating, never left me stranded, lots of passenger leg room in both front and back seats.  Great for short commutes or long distance road trips without getting cramped up.  Great sound quality with the BOSE speaker system with factory subwoofer.  Larger brakes, this car stops on a dime every single time.  The DSC traction control system works great in snow and on ice, the ABS are very top-notch as well.

Cons: It was only made for 2 years, about 10,000 in total.

Buy It, But Expect The Engine To Do Very Strange Things From Time To Time. — This car was built for luxurious performance at a good price point. 265HP out of the box ain't bad for a 2.3L turbo four. Opt for the GT variant like I did, and it is also a very comfortable highway bruiser. Build quality is wonderful, as all interior trim and electronics were tight as new up to the point I sold it. Unfortunately, the engine is its weakness. Awful reliability, and oil burning. Things just went wrong when there was no rhyme or reason for it to.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Mazda handling, smile inducing torque.

Cons: The engine reliability.

The Best Made Mazda Ever. — High performance, superior handling with 4WD. As Mr. Clarkson stated in TopGear: "The Mazda is the other way around, not even remotely interesting to behold but when you turn the key and go for a drive it’s . . . it’s . . . it’s just amazing. " :)

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Handling and feeling of the power.

Cons: Speeding tickets :)

The Best — The Mazda 6 MPS is all round the perfect car for the average male driver. It is practical , spacious, sporty and most importantly rare. It is a dream to drive, the power is good and the handling superb. No body will know what you are driving so you dont look like any particular owner stereotype. 2.3 L Turbo V6 0-60 time. 5.5 - 6.5 seconds

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Performance

Cons: Fuel economy

Good Car For A Family Who Want To Have Some Fun Now And Then. — With a turbocharged four cylinder with 280 HP and AWD, this car is great performance all around. Never needed any major repairs, and since it is a Mazda, it has low maintenance costs. It is even good on gas mileage, and is great at the autocross.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Turbo can throw you back in the seat.

Cons: Jerky clutch and throttle.
