I Love It! — This is the most exiting affordable sports car. Nothing for every day use, but extremely agile on curvy roads and race tracks. While interior quality is not at the level of German Engineering, the rest of the car is honest, spartaneous and simple. Everything focussed on light weight - the true Lotus philosophy. This concept leads to extreme performance at reasonable cost.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Fun

Cons: very spartaneous

The Most Fun You Can Have In A Car With Your Clothes On — The ultimate connection of man to machine. The most fun car I've ever owned. Make no mistake, this car is at home on the track. This is not a car to live with day to day. As a fun weekend or track car, nothing compares. This is as pure a modern driver's car as you will ever find, except for maybe an Ariel Atom.

Pros: Raw, loud, perfect telepathic steering, ultra responsive, incredible limits of grip, ridiculously fun, daring styling, rare and special

Cons: Raw, loud, no practicality whatsoever, difficult ingress/egress, pot holes will knock your brains out

If You Love To Drive, You Will Love This Car. — If you are a driving purest, you will never be disappointed with this car. From the, moment you get in, you know that you are in for a treat and huge thrill ride. The car does not disappoint. It handles better than most exotics and costs a thrid of what they cost. Its quick, responsive, and looks fantastic. The only thing a small car can always use is more horse power, they have done that in the new 2008 model, I guess Lotus was listening to their customers. Great job!!!

Pros: Handling, acceleration, fitted seats, vehicle height, design, price.

Cons: rattles and sqeaks, a few more horsies required to give it that extra power, getting in and out of the car is more like falling in and crawling out...

"what Is That?" "a Lotus Elise." "but Who Makes It?" "..." — Pretty much the best sports car I can think of, if you don't mind the lack of a million horsepower or the fact that not many people know what it is. I've had it for 2 years and it's only used for racing (autocrossing), but every time I have to go get gas, people ask me questions like "how much does it cost?" and are always disappointed when I tell them it didn't cost 100K. Light weight, so it turns on a dime. It also accelerates faster than any other 190 hp car if that means anything to you. Simplistic in every way. Literally glued together. If you love driving, you'd love this car. Of course I could type on and on about this car, but I don't feel like giving a 'full' full review ;)

Pros: Light weight
Amazing turns
Amazing looks
Amazing pretty much everything

Cons: Nothing fancy on the inside
Inline 4 rather than some V8, 10, or 12
Not for the weak of heart :p
A pain to drive on the road since no one can see you

I Love, Love, Love It!!! — A totally HOT car! What can I say - I've had it for 7 months, and the more I drive it, the more fun I have and the more I love it! It smokes! It looks so hot! It is incredibly responsive. It corners like it's on rails. The faster it goes, the tighter it hugs the road. It accelerates best around 7800 rpm, but that engine can take 10,000 (the governor cuts at 8200). Take the top off, hit the road, and you'll fall in love too! Oh yeah - it gets good gas mileage too. I've wanted a Lotus since I was a little girl - my dream car. You know what - I've got it, and it's even better than I dreamed!

Pros: Custom Yokahama tires, great gas mileage (28 mph), extremely reliable engine, low maintenance, light weight, just dying to be taken out on the track. Perfect balance of performance engine, light weight and awesome handling. A really HOT car!

Cons: Um... haven't come up with any cons yet. Small stripped down interior - like a racecar - not a problem for me - I like it! Heavyweight passengers are uncomfortable in the seat ( my dogs don't complain). Trunk is small, but who cares? Can fit 2 midsize overnight bags plus top - what more do you need? No cupholders - but who needs caffeine with all that adrenaline running?

Most Fun Car For Almost Any Money — This car is in a class outside of other sports cars in its price category. The overall experience was awesome. It was fun to just rev the engine high dump the clutch and and heal toe on the down shifts.

Pros: Performance, looks, experience, relative price

Cons: If you have cons for this car you're missing the point
