Im not sure, but the car felt sluggish.. may be its my expectations or there is a legit engine problem. Non the less, not the one for me.

This vehicle is luxurious. Fits 7 passengers with a foldable third row, can find them in a 3.7l v6, 4.7l v8 or a 5.7l v8 Hemi. So it really just makes it more of an affordable family car THATS NOT A MINI VAN!. Me personally I’m into the 5.7l but they do have some known Issues with the engines. Valve stem seats drop into the cylinders destroying the pistons and most the time blowing engines. Due to a fault Chrysler isn’t wanting to do anything about but thats with anything with a 5.7l hemi in it. Still don’t mean that it isn’t one mean son of a gun and there are preventive replacement out there to avoid the problems all together. Just sad Chrysler won’t step up and offer these to people with them. There is a recall on the front control module of these vehicles but it is a 100% free fix from chrystler.

Great Family Car — Overall its a great vehicle, maintenance is reasonable. It excellent in the snow, it seats 7 or seats as little as 2 if you need the cargo space for both rear sets of seats fold down for cargo space as necessary. Mine served me well especially in harsh New England weather. Excellent vehicle overall.

Pros: Excellent handling in all road and weather conditions

Cons: Fuel mileage as to be expected with a vehicle of its size.

Fantastic — this particular vehicle has surpassed any thought of being a lemon. It was in the shop once to have the transfer case fluids replaced. That's It! All back seats fold down. Plenty of storage when they are down. 7 passenger belts with all seats up. When all are up the cargo capacity is very limited, with exception to outside top rack area.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Vehicle has been a great family ride. Heated seats and back theater seating is awesome for riders to see the road.  Bluetooth connectivity through the speakers is a plus.  5.7 Liter Hemi has performed without flaw for over 110000 miles

Cons: Once in awhile the starter does not want to engage. The battery was replaced to resolve. When it happens it only requires to return the key to off and keep trying. It has always started.

Decent Family Car — I have the basic Jeep Commander, with rear wheel drive only, not 4WD. I think this has actually been a good thing, and the vehicle handles very nicely in the snow. I have 115K miles on it & have had virtually no repairs done to the vehicle. However there are some future things that will need to be done. I've been told the rims need to be replaced & my a/c needs repair. Other than that this car has been very reliable. No issues, no breaking down, no major repairs & has been a nice ride for the 5 years I've had it.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Plenty of space for the family. The convenience of third row seating. Has been reliable and has not cost me a lot of money to maintain the vehicle.

Cons: Virtually no cargo space when the third row of seats are in use, which is a big problem if traveling far distances. Fuel economy not so great. 16 mpg city/17 mpg highway.

Awesome! — Great SUV. Great On or Off road. When the weather is bad... you can count on this SUV to get you where you are going. Awesome Jeep. Best of the best. Wish Jeep would bring them back with another foot or so of cargo space.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Great On or Off road. When the weather is bad... you can count on this SUV to get you where you are going.

Cons: Wish it had more cargo space.
