2006 Avalanche, 5.3. Replaced Water pump, Thermostat, Engine Coolant Temp. Sensor, properly filled with correct fluid, NO WATER in oil. (Typically rules out head gasket). Hoses appear to be fine, both are warm to hot, not collapsed. There appears to be flow, when heated. Runs fine at idle for up to 25 or 30 minutes, after driving a few miles, Temp will jump from 165-170, to redline in mere seconds!!!
I have a 2006 Chevy Avalanche LT 2WD change the thermostat out and put new coolant in it but it still trying to overheat could it be a faulty thermostat or do I need to change the housing I did not change the housing
The material around the bed is dried out. Is there a product out there that will inhance the color to the original look
My Chevy avalanche the windows dont roll up. Battery died when I finally started it again half of the accessories where out. Right side tail light went out . my gear shift not lighting up and my gas gage .
