The 2006 TSX saw some design changes from the 2005 model, including new front fascia, integrated foglights, and new rear fascia, including restyled taillights. A redesigned grill and new side-marker lights give the 2006 TSX a more aerodynamic look.
The 2.4-liter I4 was tuned to produce 205 horsepower (compliant with the new SAE means of measuring) and 164 lb-ft of torque. The 2006 TSX is available with two transmissions, a 5-speed automatic and a 6-speed manual. The automatic gets 22/31 mileage, while the manual achieves 22/30. Both require the use of premium fuel.
The 2006 TSX continues to impress with a variety of standard features, including a sunroof, leather seats, and power seats, locks, and windows.
Drivers love the reliability and strong build of the 2006 TSX. They also like the gas efficiency and the overall look of the car. There are very few complaints about the 2006 TSX, mostly centered on a lack of torque.

One of the best cars ever made. The engine has a solid timing chain with plenty of power will last a long time with proper oil changes. Great handling setup and design. Responsive feel .plenty of power for regular driving and spirited driving. Least likely to leave you stranded. Wonderful vehicle in my opinion. Mar 02, 2024

Ive owned two Acura TSXs. An 06 and an 08. They are beautifully engineered vehicles. Very reliable and you can tell after just one drive how much thought and detail has been put into it. It is one of the most well rounded vehicles out there in terms of looks, reliability, performance, and affordability. Jan 29, 2022

This is such a comfy car to drive. It has everything I really want in a car. I wish it had a little bit more power, but it’s just my daily driver, so it’s great the way it is. Jul 12, 2020

I've driven this car for about 3 years now. It's been very reliable and good on gas. This car can run forever if properly maintained. Maintenance cost on this car is pretty low. Great Mid Entry luxury car. Great car overall.Jan 07, 2015

I loved at the price I got it for used during the recession and how few problems I had with the car compared to other friends i know with their luxury cars. I am very happy with the purchase and will probably get another TSX in the future. Mar 24, 2013

Smooth ride on the road, fast with its v-tech. this car makes a statement on the road.
I personally am selling the car only because my wife is pregnant and i need more room for baby car seat and stroller. otherwise i would keep this car forever.

Over all the car has been slightly modified, so the power is slightly better
then a stock version, but because the car is lowered almost 2 inches, the
ride is not too smooth. The look of the car is so clean & simple. I would
say that most people that drive my car agree that it is relatively fun to
drive.Oct 20, 2011

Fully loaded and very tightly built. Rev-happy 2.4L engine really scoots the car along above 5000rpm. Honda reliability with the luxury of a TL. Glacier blue metallic is a beautiful color. Wouldn't own a new TSX because the body style is hideous.Jun 10, 2010

Love the look navigation system. Hate the actual navigation system. AMAZED with the hands-free cell phone link. Heated seats are a plus. Maintenance is a biotch. Driving is nice . The tires the care deserves are expensive , but worth it. It's great to own, gas mileage is good.Jan 02, 2010

not a racing care so nothing excited, but it is very nice and reasonable price, very comfortable to sit in there, maintenance is not as expensive as Europe car, but still is a bit high. Gas is not that bad. Jul 10, 2009

TSX is a great car and the only reason I own it is because toyota does not have a somewhat sporty 6-speed car. The premium gas does not help either. Other than that this car is amazing and I'll have it for awhile.Jun 04, 2009

Great car to learn how to drive. Convenient features, beautiful all round. Ipod integration, power everything. All of which were in hands, not arms, reach.
Being able to manually change the gears(I had an automatic) made for some nice exhaust notes and had a tight feel though out every aspect of the steering. The more spirited I drove though, the more I wanted. This car's full potential would only be seen on a track. While I shouldn't be scrutinizing a non-performance car on its performance, its what interested me while I drove.
I don't recommend this car because I'm biased and feel there are much better daily drivers out there in the price range. :D

I loved this car, it was great, the performance was spoiling and the luxury features were awesome- until they started to fail one after the other. Don't know if I received a lemon, but it was the least reliable car I owned. Build quiality was better than average except the hood seems to not line up correctly. Definatley miss...Nov 08, 2008

Good car, doesn't have lots of personality, however.
The shifting and performance are OK, had to learn to
rev to get performance, especially coming from a Saab
with more low-RPM torque. Fit and finish are
unsurprisingly good, it is a Honda after all. Interested
to see new version. Good gas mileage!Sep 10, 2008

This is the Honda Accord in Europe and Japan and it is a beauty! Pleasing interior detail, smooth lines, compact, yet roomy inside! Ipod Jack, Disc changer and Bluetooth are great additions. Cup holders are in a practical location and the 6-speed shifts smoothly and is fun to drive!Apr 07, 2008

I want to buy pistons to build a k24a2 turbo engine but all the listings on ebay show “k24 block with k20 head “ and i want to use the k24 head so i don’t know which ones to get?
I have a 2006 Acura TSX. Jumped a dead battery. Have the 5 digit code to reset the radi. But the display only. Shows a C instead of CODE. I cannot enter the code due to this reason. I tried and now it’s showing error 7. I also cannot set the clock the way I used to using the right side radio control knob. Please help
If I've sold my car and would like to advertise another car, can I do that? I purchased the upgraded package and the car sold very quick, but through another site.
