Handling Ranked 2002 Volkswagen Jetta GLX VR6 Wagon better.
"I think the Jetta narrowly beats the SE-R and that could be simply due to the superior tires I had on my Jetta. The steering feedback on the Jetta was a bit heftier than in the Altima."
Family Car Ranked 2002 Volkswagen Jetta GLX VR6 Wagon worse.
"This is simply due to space. The Altima has it. The Jetta does not. It has an unbearable rear seat even for a sedan. My Scion tC had more rear legroom than my Jetta. The Altima is also superior in cargo capacity."

It's A Great Car, You Really Can't Go Wrong With One. — I like just about everything this car has to offer except the placement of the child safety seat bars. This car hasn't let me down, it has been very reliable, I am happy I chose this vehicle when I was looking.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: I like the way it steers, not too easy and not too hard. The safety rating is great! Very reliable, when driving the pick up on speed is great, the brakes aren't too touchy or not touchy enough, its roomy.

Cons: Child car seat attachment bars are under the seats. I have to push the clip through the seat then twist and push the clip onto the bar.

An Alright Car — This is a pretty good car, however, I've had a lot of engine problems when it came to camshaft and crankshaft position sensors. Now, I might start having problems with the catalytic converter and my car is around only 90k miles. These are notorious problems with Nissan Altimas that were made around this year.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: Spacious,

Cons: Had a lot of problems with sensors, turning radius is not that great.

Looks, Power, Speed Wow — Bought this SER new in 05. Mostly used when I needed room for more than one or went to the store; Otherwise I drove my 2 door sports car or motorcycle. Build is solid, ride is sporty, dependability is good, performance is great. Stock appearance still receives positive comments. It is a great car. Usually, I keep cars for 3-4 years. I have had this one for 10- that implies an abundance of positives.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

    Pros: Appearance; performance; dependability

    Cons: Interior dated styling

Amazingly Great Car With Fantastic Value — I like the spacious interior and trunk. Interior and exterior color. Gas MPG which is very low in highway and city. Very comfortable car for all the people in the car such as the driver, and all the passengers in front and back seats.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: It is a fantastic car

Cons: There is nothing bad about this car

Sleek Gas Saver With Surprising Room And Handling — Like the fuel economy however I wish I would have gotten a 6 six cylinder because I like to go fast like Ricky bobby. I love the low cost maintenance of this car other than oil changes and a new set of tires I have t had to do anything

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It's a Nissan with proper maintenance 250k miles is a regular occurrence

Cons: Can't really think of a whole bunch of negatives except its a Nissan and resale value is always high and they are in high demand so the command a premium price

Great Car For Trips And Daily Transportation — Love this car. Very little maintenance beyond routine oil changes, etc. Love the flip down rear seats into the trunk for carrying larger items. The car looks classy when going upscale, but is serviceable for a daily commute in SoCal.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Flip down rear seats to trunk. Large trunk. very comfortable dashboard arrangement.

    Cons: Fuel economy is OK

My First Japwagon — This thing is pretty good. Coming from only having 80s and 90s cars, it's a major step up in technology. It gets really nice fuel mileage, and it's pretty quick too. It's comfy and I can actually go for rides with friends on our days off. Overall, a nice investment.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Quick, good mpgs, and spacious.

Cons: I'm gonna be paying for it til 2017
