I Love It, I Just Want A Newer One. Change Color And Have Touch Screen On Nav — I love this car it's the best car I have ever owned and I have have owned lots of cars: Cadillac Coupe De Ville, Lincoln Town Car, Chev Silverado, Buick Regal, Olsmobile Cuttleess Supreme, Mazda RX7 and Lots of Corvettes.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Classy looking car. Dependable. Lots of room which I dont need all the time so, I take 3rd row seats out. I love it best for grocery shopping

Cons: Nav System is not touch screen. When I'm in a hurry I use Nav on cell phone.

Great Car If You Have The Money To Buy One Or Can Find A Good Deal :) — Performace: My wife loves the brakes on this car, she refers to the as squishy :). Build Quality: It is a Cadillac... what more needs to be said? Appearance and Fun factor are both high. This car looks great and handles surprisingly well for as large as it is. Gas mileage could be better though...

    Primary Use: Family transportation

    Pros: It's a caddy :)

    Cons: Gas mileage

Take It Or Leave It — Rips through the snow, even on 22's, keeps ya warm in the winter and looks bad ass in the snow. Very spacious cab with plenty of storage space in the bed. A little less room in the second row, and no heated seats, but the rear window comes out to blow all the ciggy smoke out the spot.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Safety, comfort, convenience, luxury, style, performence, ballin

Cons: Ya can't ball if you can't do premium on the v8

Escalade Rocks — Are you kidding me! The Escalade has been a goal since I was a kind and now it's mine...I mean our's. Nothing like it. From the 7 passenger seating to the 15" DVD monitor in the back, this is the perfect ride for our family. Rollin' up in my ESCALADE!!

    Pros: Everything

Cons: Gas Mileage...but hey...what'd you expect.

Me and my wife bought this 05 Cadillac Escalade AWD in November of 04. Original Window sticker MSRP was $62,575. We paid around $60,000 for it. We still own it today. We have not had any problems with it what so ever. Its always been services by a GM service department (usually Capital Cadillac where we purchased from) and the maintenance is not that expensive. We have owned various luxury SUVs and this one is the most cushy comfortable riding one weve ever had!! Low maintenance, gas mileage is as expected for a large SUV. The specific one we bought has all the options like dual headrest DVD/TVs, heated/cooled front and rear captain chairs, custom chrome grille, chrome rims, touch screen navigation/infotainment system, and so much more! Were planning on purchasing another new one soon. Just have to get up the courage to spend about $100,000 on one. We deserve it for our hard work and our house being paid for already. So this will be a treat for ourselves. I think Ill keep the 05 at 149,000 miles for myself! ;)

Power Ranked 2005 Lincoln Navigator worse.
"The Vortex AWD V8 engine produces the perfect amount of power needed for this large heavy SUV. I wouldnt want to change a thing as far as the power/performance is concerned!"
Handling Ranked 2005 Lincoln Navigator worse.
"When test driving new vehicles in Nov. 2004 the Cadillac drove/rode so much more smoother than the Navigator did. Steering was more responsive also, the Escalade feels more like a luxury vehicle than the Navigator did which is why we purchased the new 2005 Cadillac Escalade AWD. "
Looks/Style Ranked 2005 Lincoln Navigator worse.
"My 2005 Escalade has always been a head turner! Especially when I have had it detailed and the factory chrome rims and the factory chrome grille upgrade shinning. Lol"
Front Seats Ranked 2005 Lincoln Navigator worse.
"The plush front seats offer plenty of room and so much comfort. My specific one has the heated/cooled seats which adds to the comfort. "
Back Seats Ranked 2005 Lincoln Navigator worse.
"The plush rear seats in my 05 Escalade offers so much room and comfort. My Escalade has the rear seat captains chairs which are heated/cooled just like the front seats which make it perfect for any rear passengers. Everyone doesnt fight to sit in the front seats anymore because the back seats are just as good (if not better) and comfortable as the front seats. Plus, the rear passengers get the dual headrest DVD/TV players to watch if they want. "
Cargo Capacity Ranked 2005 Lincoln Navigator worse.
"Cavernous cargo space when the third row is not in use. When you remove the third row completely from the vehicle it adds even more room for cargo space. One of the biggest in the large SUV class!"
Family Car Ranked 2005 Lincoln Navigator worse.
"The dual headrest DVD/TVs, heated/cooled front and rear captains chairs, and the enormous rear storage space in the 05 Cadillac Escalade AWD makes it perfect for my family of 4! When we were shopping back in November of 04 for a large SUV we drove the 05 Lincoln Navigator as well and it didnt offer the dual headrest DVD/TVs or the heated and cooled front and rear seats! The kids loved that they had their own TV to watch the same (or seperate usually) DVD on when they want to. In the Navigator with only the 1 roof mounted DVD player they would be forced to watch the same thing causing chaos in the back. My kids also love the heated and cooled rear seats in my Escalade. "
Value Ranked 2005 Lincoln Navigator worse.
"We bought the 2005 Cadillac Escalade AWD when it was new, it only had 12 miles on it when we drove out of the lot! I personally think it was worth the $60,000 we paid for It! However, I was very disappointed with the resale value of the Cadillac brand!! We still own the Escalade which is now 12 years old and its held up extremely well. I believe weve got our $60k out of it. Lol"
Would Buy Ranked 2005 Lincoln Navigator worse.
"I am currently in the market to buy a new family SUV. Back in November 2004 when we were looking for a new vehicle we drove a few different luxury SUVs. The Cadillac Escalade AWD was our favorite and the best choice. Now that Im ready to get another I am 98% sure Ill be purchasing another new 2017 Cadillac Escalade. Weve been very impressed with the overall reliability and comfort of this vehicle!"
