Impressive — This is a great looking suv. Very impressive. Drives extremely well and is great on the snow. Seats up to 8 people. Great for big families or for hauling anything. Front seats offer a lot of luxuries. From the heated seats to the dual climate controls. Great sounding stereo. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Great looking suv. Extremely comfortable. Lots and lots of room Cons: If your are looking for a fuel efficient vehicle, this is not the suv for you. |

Good Car, Very Reliable, A True Work Horse — great suv its taken my family to Florida and back to DC 15 times. very reliable and decent on fuel. insurance is cheap and maintenance is done by me and my dad. I have a personal connection with the car. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: I love the look of the headlights Cons: The fact that this will be my first car upsets me. |

Mountaineer — Overall I would give the Mountaineer a grade of B. It is an excellent daily driver. I get around 16-17 mpg city maybe a little better, I dont really care. The AWD and heated seats are awesome in the winter. It seats 5 people comfortably and has a large trunk area. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: AWD Cons: Its a Mercury |

??? — This is my other baby, her name is esmerelda. Very Very Peppy you can deffinatly tell that she has a V8, i dont think i would enjoy this so much if it were the V6 model, though gas may be a bit Cheaper. Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.) Pros: The seat moves to the stearing wheel when you put the key in the ignition Cons: i love everything |

I Found My Black Beauty Mountaineer — I just had spinal surgery and LOVE the heated seats with lumbar support. Had a few emergency runs to hospital, no fear in the Mountaineer. I'm getting up in years, and yet I find myself needing more room in a vehicle day by day. I have grand kids I'll want to go see one day. I love to travel and this vehicle here is the perfect choice to do that in. Room room and even more room. Towing capacity for a boat and more than enough power to haul it all. A great family SUV and with it's anti-roll bar, safety is a huge factor. I feel safe in my mountaineer, Why do yu think I bought another one !?It's fun to drive and perfect height for everything. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Great head lights, Very bright and has curve setting to them. Can drive at night with confidence.Oh the features are great! Towing package, dark windows, Dual power seats with lumbar supports. front & rear air control. DVD 6 CD changer with 7 surround speaker system. Cannot say enough about this beauty! Cons: Fuel, Fuel, Fuel. But it IS better than the 97 model I still have |
