It's A Very Nice Car. That's All, It Isn't A Pace Maker That I Am Willing To Sell My Soul For. — I love driving it. I enjoy the folks that ask about it. The fuel cost is a bit on the shaky side. The repairs are insanely priced by the dealerships. The extra keys are a bad joke. The cost (Key) that you have to pay out for another one, from the Dealerships! As for acceleration, it's grate (when it's working properly) Braking no problems, handling is very good, as for safety-well so far I haven't had to find out how safe I am in it.(I love a challenge from anyone that wants to race, so far, 135mph wasn't too bad, 'I won') Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Car runs/looks fine, no problems so far too offal to handle. Cons: Maintenance/repair cost. $2020.00 for minor crap. plugs, oil/filter change, trans. fluid/filter change, air filters, (brake fluid change-why?), and a quick look over. (Insane u ask me) |

Great Car For Old People... Lol — Good Car For Long Distance traveling, Town driving will hurt your wallet. Very heavy on petrol in town. Great performance for an 1800cc ... Few interior and exterior things that putt me of... But not bad in general. Very relaible in general, only prob i had was oil cooler that blew a port and mixed oil with water, That was on 187000km. Window switches tend to break when pull little to hard. Cd player Greated too soon, Replacement cost in south africa is way to much for a radio. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: Always wanted a merc.... How do they say, Been there, Done that. Got the T-Shirt.... Gave it away!!!! Cons: Petrol consumption, Hard seats for long distance traveling. |

One Of The Best Overall Performing Cars I Have Owned. — I have driven this car from 35,000 to 85,000. It is still solid and runs strong. Accessories, knobs, buttons etc. still work great. This is such a good all-around performer. It's not blistering fast but has good power to weight. Last year my commute went from 10 miles to 25 miles each way and so getting 30 mpg highway has been great. I had a CLK55 and loved the horsepower. It would be nice to have that kind of power in this car but I would really miss the good mileage. I always think about my next car but I have found that in nearly every case there would be some aspect of this little Mercedes that I would miss. I enjoy getting into it every day. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Fit, finish, durability, reliability, style, comfort, amenities, mileage. Just feels good to drive. Cons: Back seat space but that is to be expected, it's not an S class. |

Black Velvet — Performance above average, great family space with a sport handling, awesome accel, the materials used in the ineror could be better, looks so good o the road, the cost of ownershop is a little high due to double fliters and a v6 engine is a really fun car to drive... i can get to 110 without noticing ... Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Handling at high speed Cons: repair costs |

Fun Little Coupe! — This car is at home on the freeway, in the twisties, in traffic (nice light clutch and very difficult to stall) or for a long trip. The styling is good, the ergonomics are fantastic, the stereo is great, nice road feel, good brakes and a nice compliant ride. Peppy little car that is so easy to throw around. Rotates well! Not too soft, yet doesn't jar you. Some of the materials are still up to Mercedes quality. Paint is very good. Seats are good too. Headlights are a bit cloudy. Tires wear well. The only negatives are the broken sunroof and no dipstick to manually check oil levels. Pros: Ours is a six speed manual, so it is peppy and a blast to drive. Handles well, but not harsh. Everything is in the right place (ergonomics) and logical to operate. I love the rain sensors and auto headlights. Bose stereo sounds good. Seats are super confortable. Has been great on maintenance and very reliable. Cons: Power moonroof went out and they want $2,500 to repair it. A bit pricey for a sunroof repair. Maybe a little tighter suspension would be nice. Some plastic is broken (speaker grill and center arm rest). Can't check oil level - no dipstick! |

Rosie's Mercedez-benz — Performance - acceleration, braking, handling are all superb. Build Quality - has it needed repairs? squeaks/rattles none so far. touch wood. Appearance - both interior and exterior styling. It's a Merc. so yes, i think it's stylish. Cost of Ownership - Great kilometers per litre of petrol , maintenance ok so far. Fun Factor - is this car fun to drive? I would not have bought it if it wasn't. She's a great car. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: The handling with no under or oversteer to speak of. Awesome! Cons: The seats. They could be better as they're a bit hard. |
