I Didn't Like It. Not A Bad Vehcile But Definitely Not My Taste. — It picked for a little ity bity 4 cylinder. The standard tranny was fun. Lots of body roll in the corners and steering wobble at highway and higher speeds. It was however built solid, I couldn't even mange to break it, and I break things. I can make it thing it was broken but it wasn't. I'm not a fan of the fat 2 door hatch back look, at all. If it was 4 door it would've been a bit nicer. It was however cheap as cheap can be. It got 40+ mpg on the highway and 30 mpg around town and ran great on whatever gas you put in it. The only fun part though is the fact it had 3 peddles instead of 2.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Cheap and small. Great on gas and easy to park.

Cons: Uncomfortable and other then the five speed, quite boring.

Its Nothing Special — Typical Hyundai quality, very basic car, at least its a manual, paint is of decent quality, seats get uncomfortable after a while, parts are reasonably priced, hatch has an okay amount of space, its just an a to b car

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: good gas mileage

Cons: its a Hyundai

Ehh, It Was My First Car. Deffinatly Helped Me Make The Decision To Not Get Another Hyundai. — Um, ya. It's a hyundai, before they switched to being primarily USA parts. Acceleration is Horrible, especially when the AC is on. The braking is fine and handling is great. As for build, it does okay. There is a shake that I cant seem to fix. The interior is a little bland, I have sports cloth and that just means you get charcoal coloring and confetti thrown on it. Gas mileage, I get 300miles to the tank...and it costs around 28 dollars to fill it. Maintenance, I was fine until I hit 50,000 miles. Things just seem to go wrong. This car has also been in a couple of accidents. Held up well however the airbags never deployed. Its a fun FIRST car to drive.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Its a great first car. Get's you to point A-point B without any flash.

Cons: No antilock breaking system as an option...could use more saftey features.

Keep It You Will Love It And You Ill Never Give Up On It.... — Power is superb, but interior is bit cheap compared to Honda but better than Suzuki.. other than that everything is wow in this car.... that is why i am still hanging with it and oh yeah it has Hi-performance Hurricane filter in it..

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: It's Smooth on the roads

Cons: ABS is not all that great.... but still you can go for it...

Good But Not Best! — Well the 2004 model has been redesigned totally compared to the 2003 and before... New frame, body and motor. The overall is getting better and shuts up the critics saying this is a crappy car. Of course this is still an accent, but the GL edition is a better car than ever! Mine is a 2004 with 182k and still runnng like a young gun! The gas mileage is pretty good! over 500 kilimeters with one fill up. Finally, with a little more HP uder the hood, It would be a real thrill to drive!

Pros: Gas economy, design.

Cons: Power, handling (fun factor)
