I've Been Very Happy With This Vehicle. I Bought It With 16,000 Miles. — It's a fun car to dive. The gear shifter is located in the dash, just below the radio. A different position that I've grown to like. The seats are comfortable. I've been happy with the performance and power. I commuted over 500 miles per week.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fun to drive, zippy, manual transmission

Cons: Over 200,000, mainly commuter, miles

Perfect Car For Everyday Drive. — I like pretty much everything about this car, except size. It was good before, but now when I have family it got too small for me. Except that there are only pluses, especially gas mileage. Maintenance is one of the cheapest and easiest on the market.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Very good gas mileage. Perfect mechanical condition.

    Cons: Too small.

Everything I Needed To Learn About Life I Learned Over 7 Years And 80000 Miles In A Honda Civic — It's about the right balance between economy and style. This car provided both. The two door coupe with a 5 speed stick made the ride feel sporty and the 34 highway mpg made the owner feel like he wasn't an irresponsible jerk. If you're living in the city or looking for a practical commuter that will last you neigh on to the end of days, this is your ride. Lastly, my next car will be another Honda. That decision was made many miles ago and has only been reaffirmed by the reliability of both the car, the retention of the vehicles market value and the Honda dealerships and service people I've met along the way.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great fuel economy, handling and reliability.  It's a Honda.  Manual transmission puts you more in control in bad driving conditions.  Perfect city car.

Cons: Low power, limited cargo and passenger capacity.  Not a pick the kids and two friends up from soccer practice type of ride.

Good Daily Workhorse! — Good overall. Needs more horsepower and more damping in the suspension. Very reliable and cheap to own and maintain. Parts are easy to find online; simple maintenance are easy to perform. A car cover from new would've been a great idea.

    Pros: Reliability, gas mileage, versatility

Cons: Too bouncy, low power, weak suspension.

Buy It. — Love the car so much. Bought it used, it treats me well. Service it, wash it, clean it. You're in for a treat. The car loves it's own. Give it a name also. I love my car very much. It's every dream into one.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

    Pros: Everything

Cons: Could have more HP, the braking system can be more stiff.

Best Car I've Ever Had! — I'm 6'4", and this is such a roomy vehicle for me. I fit very comfortably in this smaller make. Another thing I notice when I'm in any other vehicle is the limited range of vision out the wind shield. Very often it's a very compressed range, but the Civic has always maintained a very wide vertical range of view. The car is incredibly fun to drive, very responsive on speed and tighter around curves than my nerves can handle. The hatch also has endless cargo space. On a couple of occasions I've had 50+ bags of top soil in the hatch with seats folded down of course. And for as much as I push it inside and out, it cleans up amazingly every time I detail it, and every time my mechanic looks it over, there's never been any surprises, Just routing maintenance for the past 104,000 miles. I've been looking into new vehicles because I just love cars, but at every dealership, when I get back in my car, it beats everything I've just driven new on the lot. I love this car!

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Value, The most function, fun, and style, for your dollar!

Cons: Avoid if you need to move young children, car seats would be a pain!

Don't Buy A Prius, But A Honda — This car is unstoppable, ran for 120k miles before i traded it in for a 4 door (had a family) and i never changed anything besides the oil. averaged 40mpg of mixed driving. handled great on snow and ice. I love this car and plan on owning another someday.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Amazing gas mileage, As close to zero maintenance as a car comes

Cons: not the biggest car out there

Vtec Just Kicked In Yo — 2004 Civic coupe SI, 1.7L Vtec. Drives very nice and smooth, accelerates quickly, comfortable and easy car to drive. Paid a good price for this car. Its a fun car to drive and I am happy with the car. Going from an old bagged out 95 Civic hatchback its definetly a better performing, sportyer car.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Very smooth and easy driving car.

Cons: few rust spots, nothing major

Love It! — Great A-B car with practicality in mind over performance. Build quality is solid and car is still mistaken for a brand new model. The car is attractive and I get many compliments from both sexes. The car handles like it is on rails and the cost of ownership has been low so far.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Looking for something attractive, practical, and fun to drive - this is the answer.

Cons: Looking for straight line speed, not the right car for you.
