Was ok until 80,000 miles then nothing but trouble. The v-6 vibration damper went out, then anti-lock brake module went out, steering rack leaking (replaced), seals went out on front shafts , fan motor went out. 16 mpg aversge. vs2012 Honda CR-V

Dependable Ride — Its a very comfortable ride, And was very practical for what i needed. I had just purchased a home and did some small remodels here and there. Having a spacious suv made transporting materials and tools easy as could be! Ive had 0 mechanical issues with it. Unfortunately, Last years winter brought on some rust. So ideally its the first thing that should be fixed with this vehicle. If you knock that out, I believe this car will run and look great for many years to come! Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Its been amazing in the winter, It was one of the worst I can remember! Cons: Horrible on gas millage, Luckily I drive just a few miles to work and back. |

Ford — I have had a good experience with my ford only selling it to get something newer. We have 5 children and have room for everyone. Only complaint I have is when I did need servicing our local ford repair shop isn't the friendliest and a little pricier than other repair shops. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: Lots of room for a big family Cons: None |

Good — good for a family of four. good to go on trips. although its paint cheap on the front and the rear gate crack and the double timing belt that this vehicle has I can not rate it tobe a bad buy. the price was good with all the extras that I added to it. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: very good travel vechicle and family vechicle. Cons: that its engine has a double timing belt. |

Nice Family Car — nice looking SUV, great family car, seats 7 comfortably, very reliable, We purchased this SUV with 20,000 miles and put 100,000 miles on it. The only thing besides the general maintenance that we had to do was front wheel bearings. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: reliable, seats 7 comfortably, goes well in the snow nice SUV Cons: gas mileage is O.K. not enough storage space on long trips when using all seats, |

Outstanding Outside, Inside, And Under The Hood! — This vehicle is nice to drive because of it's size and versatility. For a midsize SUV it really allows the room you need, the power you may want, without the bulk of a larger truck or SUV. Every time you go out to get in the classy, handsome color combination welcomes you to enjoy your drive to the store or the lake or wherever you are headed. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: With it's sporty two tone and classy crimson color it's a handsome SUV for guy or gal, single, couple or family. Room for hauling people or things yet a much more comfortable size than a pick up or large SUV with same ability. Hitch and the engine to pull anything. Leather seating. Cons: Average gas mileage |

Great Vehicle, Until The Faulty Transmission Design Cost Me — Had this vehicle from new. No major problems until the faulty transmission design from ford failed and left me with a pile of useless parts. Loved this truck until it failed though. Lots of room and great ride. Avoid the years listed and you'll be fine Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: Large passenger areas, ability to carry more with third row seat or carry cargo. Cons: Awful transmission problems on the 2000-2004 Explorers did me in at 108,000 after never having a problem |

Good Car — Smooth riding car with plenty of cargo space and room for 6 passengers. MPG isn't that great but not horrible either. Can be reliable for the most part but have run into some maintenance issues. Handles nicely for a larger vehicle. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Smooth and fun to drive. Cons: High maintenance |
