Great Car — Love the way the car handles on the open highway. BMW manitance is high at the dealer. It is best to have a handyman/car mechanic nearby to save on cost. Love driving the car smooth take off and a lot of power.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Good car very smooth!!!

Cons: Radiator light on

The True Meaning Of Luxury — I love this car, the look and ride is definitely 5 stars. I like in Illinois so the snow is a big deal, the rwd driving in snow was sort of a hassle for me commuting 30 minutes daily back and forth to work.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Beautiful car, comfortable ride, the true meaning of luxury

Cons: RWD in the Chicago snow is a hassle

Great — Sweet ride with great gas millage. Lots of fun to drive. Built in phone, Navigation, dvd ect. If you want it in a car its hidden some where in the neat nooks and crannies. Bmw knows how to make a luxury car.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Sweet ride with lots of creature features

Cons: Its loosing to much value every year.  It was 79k new

Love My 7 Series Bmw — The car looks great, handles corners great. The torque, speed, smoothness of the drive makes it fun. The best part of this vehicle is the looks and handling. I wish BMW did not get rid of the back end. That is may favorite part.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Love the look of the vehicle, handling is great!

Cons: Not a family car.

Just A Great Car! — This is a great automobile. It is fun to drive and provides one of the smoothest and quietest rides of any car I have ever experienced. It defines luxury, style, performance, and class. I will own another one very soon.

Pros: The BMW 745Li is an awesome automobile.  Speed and handling of a sports car, with the ride and comfort of a luxury sedan.  Loved it since day 1.

Cons: Wish I had a warranty.  Does not require maintenance often.  But, when it does, it is pricey.  Do-it-yourself maintenance recommended when and if possible.

745i — It was my first BMW and I still own her. She drives like a champion. Smooth and feels like I'm floating. For the age of it I still get a lot of compliments and offers to purchase it. I don't have any plans on passing it on anytime soon. I'm still less than 100k miles and I've only had to replace the starter. Regular maintenance is the key to keeping this beauty rolling.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Great overall car, great ride, great gas mileage for a car this size and the handling is sport car like.

Cons: Angel eyes are a bit dim on this model but they can be replaced

A Terrific Car If You Like To Drive With Friends. — I really enjoyed driving this car on the highway. We took a few trips to Georgia and the Carolinas and it was easy to handle at high speeds. The seats are very comfortable with heating or cooling when the conditions permit. It took a little practice getting used to the I-drive computer system although once I understood it I liked it.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Safe, comfortable, lots of amenities and gadgets, and has a huge back seat area.

Cons: I prefer smaller cars and my drive to work is six miles on surface streets so the car did not get enough highway time.

Solid Ride-handles Like A Sports Car In A Large Sedan Body — I have owned many high end sports vehicles, at the present time I believe I have purchased the best money can buy in our 745LI. Comfort, style and drive are all to be commended as the top of comparable auto's sold. The price is still a bit pricey, but no question can be in doubt regarding all the features we were looking for in a car. Overall, the BMW is an amazing car well put together. It has everything you need, the exterior is amazing, the interior is luxurious, and the engine produces more power than you would think. This car is simply the dominant vehicle when compared to it's competitors. I would definitely recommend this magnificent car if your in the market for a 7 series.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Exterior is amazing, the interior is luxurious, and the engine produces more power than you would think. This car is simply fantastic.

Cons: MSRP is Pricey

Great Family Sedan--if You Can Afford It! — This is a fabulous all-around family sedan with practically every luxury option imaginable. A big secret to many people is that these 7 Series BMW's are such a bargain once they get a couple of years old. They do not hold their value like the smaller BMW's, especially the 3 Series cars. That means there are some serious bargains to be had if you are OK with buying a used car. Most of the people who buy these cars new tend to take good care of them and don't abuse them when they drive. The trunk is enormous and the back seat in the Li model is large enough to have a party. It really feels like a limo. I have several other cars so do not drive this one all the time. When i do I am always struck by what a great car it is.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Fabulously comfortable, well-appointed, spacious interior, numerous convenience features, very safe, good looking car.  Handling is surprisingly nimble for such a big car, especially with after market sport wheels and tires.  Power is very good and transmission is almost electric motor-like in its smoothness.  Everything is of high quality and looks it.  Highway mileage is a solid 25-26 mpg--extraordinary for such a large car.  The ProLogic surround sound system is awesome.

Cons: The only real complaint I have with this car is that repairs--while rare--are very expensive.  Parking can be a bit of a challenge in the city because of its size.  Also, the car is so smooth, quiet and powerful that it is very easy to find yourself doing 90+ mph and not realize it.  I guess that is not really a complaint!

True Beauty That Gets Looks When Shes Rolling — I like the look of the car, clean lines, not much chrome real black on black car. Although pretty large it is quick enough to compete with much smaller vehicles and the handling is PURE BMW. When you need a large sedan that has get up and go this is an all time favorite!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fast, good looking, well sized

Cons: expensive to maintain, gas
