Very Reliable. — This vehicle has well over 200,000 miles and has been on more family vacations than I can remember. It's a workhorse for sure! It's been very good to my family and I would certainly buy another if given the chance.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Very reliable.  Great family car.  Nice looks and styling.

Cons: The gas mileage is awful and the towing capacity isn't as great as I expected.  The vehicle tends to struggle when towing.

Awesome Suv! — Incredible reliability, excellent design for back seat accessibility and cargo area (back door is larger than the one in a Suburban). It has better fuel economy with the 6 cylinder engine. Cushions on seating are always comfortable. Great for larger families with room up to 8 passengers.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Super reliable, great handling, ease of back seat & 3rd row accessibility, cargo area is limited but roof rack is handy.  Better fuel economy than Suburban and other 8 cylinder SUVs.  No issues with power windows or seats braking down.  Comfortable interior.

Cons: Why discontinuing the GMC XL and Trailblazer EXT in 2006?...It is just slightly smaller than a Suburban; but it has larger rear doors and an incredible performing inline 6 cylinder engine.
