I love everything about the Suv only that I need to change the truck to buy the Range Rover. Land Rovers products are mainly my tastes. I have used Range Rover before and this is my third land rover Discovery.Nov 19, 2012

Great car. I'm am glad that there is aftermarket parts available because, OEM parts are expensive. It appears that Land Rover actually made parts to fail. Such as the OEM drive shafts. They had no grease fittings. After replacing two sets of drive shafts through Land Rover we bought an aftermarket set and installed for one quarter of the OEM price.Nov 14, 2011

LandRover's 4.0 V8 on LPG is far better than the TD5 on both performance 182 bhp compared to 136bhp and mpg with the V8 returning around 30mpg overall. Our car is the work hack and spends her life pulling a big Ifor Williams car trailer around which these cars do with ease. Sep 25, 2010

Performance: the car is not made for acceleration,nor handling. But if offroad performance is counted for, you can't get any better. Build Qual: very good. Appearence: Maybe not appealling to everybody, but I really like the looks outside and all the luxe inside. Gas mileage is the only downside...just getting under 10L/100km when driving 110km/u on moterways, otherwise you end up 12-13L/100km.Jul 03, 2010

in the USA this Model went to 2004, ours is a 2004 SE7. It's an amazing vehicle yet spotty reliability. Nothing runs off road like this vehicle! It drinks gas like a Lambo though! Totally fun to drive with incredible torque despite a slightly underpowered V8. Update: 71k owned this since new. Had to replace power steering pump at about 63k - hmmmm. Headlining falling off - Texas heat undoes everything - but this is made for the Sahara right? OEM tires were bad bad bad. First front pair lasted 12k - we are careful to watch pressure levels (LandRovers are tricky like this). Replaced with Sumatomo's (spg?) - unbelievable wear from tires that cost half as much. Only just replacing that pair at 71K!!!!! Still rides like a dream. Have had up to almost 19mpg on trip to Lafayette Louisiana - cruise control at 73mph, synthetic oil, tire pressures, new plugs etc all help! Fun to drive? Heck yeah! No squeeks so to speak. Left rear tail lamp fills up with water? What the heck??? Feb 16, 2010

This is a great vehicle. The gas miliage could be better however, it is worth an extra trip to the gas station. I have a great time with it off road as well as in the city. It has plenty of room too.Jan 26, 2010

offroad capability, electronic traction control, real low range, all time 4wd, excellent sound system, great interior. 12mpg is pretty rough, cost of ownership can be a hassle. had a part break and it was $3000 to repair, luckily it was covered by warrantySep 27, 2009

well its actually my dads. good points its bright orange!!!! it runs on lpg and petrol it is capable off road performance is adequete - acceptable for the type of car looks great (roof rack, snorkel, winch etc) draws many looks from passes by puts a smile on your face bad points not as big inside as you would think build quality is not great land rover parts are expensive mpg is not great but the lpg helps that (half the price to buy)May 17, 2009

i like the size and the all round visibility and the ride height which lets you see over most vehicles it is quite quick for its size although its very good off road as all landrovers are it rather lets it self down with all the electronics doing all the work for you takes away a little bit of the fun when offroadbut overall a superb vehicle.Sep 28, 2008
