The Best Vehicle I Ever Owned. My Very Favorite. — I don't think there is a better vehicle than the Ford Expedition. Going on a trip? Pack whatever you want! Take that extra suitcase, and bring that extra friend! Moving? We put all of our clothes for 2 adults and a teenager and 4 large TV's, 3 large plants, and a bunch of paintings in this vehicle when we moved. Do you get carsick? You won't in an Expedition, because of the visibility and the height you are sitting up off of the road. If you aren't a big fan of traveling and road trips make you crabby, try your next trip in an Expedition. You'll quickly become a fan. You just can't beat this vehicle.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: There is not much negative to say about this vehicle. There were some mechanical things that developed over 120K but we bought it used, so to be fair it's hard to say how the vehicle was serviced before that. This was my favorite vehicle I have ever owned. Looks, comfort for trips, reliability, you name it; is all highly rated for me! I never had to worry about how much I wanted to pack for a trip, or long I'd have to be on the road. Because of the great visibility I never got tired riding or driving. I cried for weeks when we had to say goodbye.

Cons: All I can come up with is gas mileage, which was about 15 or 16 highway. You have to expect that for a vehicle this size and it's well worth it when it comes to the comfort and safety of this vehicle. I'm going to own another one someday.

This Is A Nice Family Vehicle — I like the room inside the vehicle. I am not real sure about the air ride yet . The 5.4L has plenty of power to move this down the road at any speed and maneuverability is awesome as this vehicle feels like it could turn on a dime to be as big as it is.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Looks and comfort are great, ride is great, power is nice

Cons: Gas mileage is not that great

Great Truck — I loved the truck and gave it up only for gas prices. I have nothing I can complain about otherwise. The truck was beautiful and had every option I wanted in an SUV. It never failed me and was big enough to haul my friends and family up camping and had room for gear and food.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Roomy
Comfy seats
Leg room
Big SUV
Great for camping

Cons: Gas guzzler

Great Family Truck — I like how all my family fit perfect. The truck is very roomy and we are able to pull our boat,Or anything. My only dislike is that it's an 8 cylinder, uses a little more gas. But still a great truck.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Love having lots of space. We are able to pull our boat or whatever we like. Have fun traveling an able to fit everything.

Cons: The fuel. It's 8 cylinder.

2002 Ford Expedition Is A Really Good Vehicle For Long And Short Distance Driving. — The 2002 Ford Expedition has been a wonderful vehicle for me and I believe it will hold up for more. One flaw in these Expeditions is the AC cooler that is located under the dash. It has a tendency to spring a leak. Also the interior trim could be better quality, Overall, this is a good quality vehicle.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: This is now an older Expedition but has held up well. I use it for everyday driving and on the highway. It excels in highway driving, lots of power and easy handling. Also stops with the ABS brakes and the AWDrive is outstanding.

Cons: It has a lot of power but I want more. The seat upholstery could be better quality as could the trim.

We Love It So Far. I Don't Like To Drive It Because It's Too Nice For Me. I'm Affraid I'm Going To — •Performance - acceleration-pretty good braking-good, handling ok •Build Quality - has it needed repairs? squeaks/rattles has a little rattle in the rear probably a loose shock mount •Appearance - both interior and exterior styling-great •Cost of Ownership - gas mileage-sucks, maintenance-ok so far •Fun Factor - is this car fun to drive-its ok

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Love the power.  Love the ride height the styling and color are awsome.

Cons: Fuel mileage sucks

Pros: I love the way it drives and I love the offroad abilities.

Cons: The only con I have is the fuel mileage of courser the mudders dont help any.

I Love My Eddie Bauer Expedition. — I love it's size, power, handling, and comfort. It is great for long road trips, and "grocery getting".My Eddie Bauer edition had all the bells, and whistles. Leather, heated seats and mirrors, power moonroof, 6 disc cd player, built in dvd player, 3rd row seats, just to name a few. It has performed well in all weather and road conditions, needed no major repairs, and is a blast to drive. The gas mileage was the only down fall to this vehicle. I love my Expedition, and will definitley get another!

Pros: Size, handling, comfort, power.

Cons: Gas mileage.
