I have a Ford Escort 2002, ZX2 zetec. I have the card was running fine until start heating. change the temp sensor and it got fix. Now, the card wont start and the coil pack is new. Al of a sudden the card stop turning on. What could it be?

I brought a 2002 ford Escort in june for 1200 I asked the Mechanic what was wrong with the car he said nothing but I came to find out that the AC compressor wasn't work.an the transmission was jumping or skipping to the third gear. So I gave him the car after couple weeks of waiting to get it replaced. Remind you when turn on the AC the car will turn off or the car would start shaking an knock a little bite. So I picked up after couple weeks the AC was running ok the first night the next day it was hot the car turned off on my an I called him told him. He said bring it in.. So I let it cool off an I turned off the AC. So I let the car chill for two days I didn't drive it. So that friday I was driving ut was riding cool I had the Ac on but turned it off cause he start act like didn't want to turn over. So I went to the store grab some items came back out the car started up but I turned AC the make a big knocking sound my car wouldn't start up the oil light come on engine light. He told me ot was a engine rod. Can the AC overheating my car cause the Engine rod to break?

2002 ford escort zx2 P 171 code changed sensors, pvc valve and hose replaced MAF,downstream, fuel filter, about $1200.00 WORTH of parts still can't find whats wrong,needing admissions test soon,also had 2 smoke tests done still nothing HELP
