Tank — drove it from missouri to california, no problems. great truck. would def get another one. the interior is spacious and has plenty of room for you and the boys, or you and the family, whatever youre looking for, you can get it in this truck! Pros: can go anywhere and will not break! Cons: gas mileage not bad, but sucks with gas prices. body damage. buying new tires |

Been A Great Truck That's Served Its Purpose For Me. — I liked everything about this truck except the gas mileage. I now have 3 cars and one parking spot. I am forced to part ways with the truck I've owned for 10 years. If I were in the market for this type of truck I would certainly give this one a look. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Reliable, good condition, cold A/C, spray-in bedliner, 4x4. Great price!! Cons: It's a big truck in a busy city. Not economical. A few dents and scratches around the truck. |

Great Truck — This truck was big burly and had a ton of muscle. It would pull anything you wanted it too barring you had enough money to pay for the fuel. It was rugged and took any beating. But it was not with out fail. There was always issues of things on the truck that would fail, fuel pump was one of those parts. As well as the transmission and a few sensors. These were all at the cost of the truck running until it hit 250K miles. This is an example of the old saying " they just don't build em like they used too" It may have had its issues but it had lasted through a lot of miles. I dont feel that the newer silverados would even come close in comparison. Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.) Pros: Great truck, plenty of power Cons: It was very plan, no features beyond the basics. |

Love It. — Overall the vehicle is great. Towing power is phenom. However with the 8.1 engine the gas mileage is poor. A whopping 10mpg on highway or city. Ugh. Otherwise the truck is awesome. Leather interior, heated seats, onstar and 4wd. Bring on the snow. Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.) Pros: Great towing vehicle. Comfortable ride. Cons: Gas mileage. With the 8.1 you get 10mpg whether on the Highway or city streets. |

Lifted Chevy — its my monster truck. 502 cu, in vortec light cam running roughly 400hp and 550 lb ft of torque. 16 in of lift with 46'' mickey thompson baja claws. all leather heated seats and mirors, onstar, basically fully loaded oh and gps Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: its huge Cons: buying tires |

Never Drivin Gas Again — Duramax Power is where its at. the power to push a 7000 lb truck faster then most ricer, more torque then a ferrari, ca[pable of pulling a house and still getting 17-22 mpg. diesel, not hybrid/electric is the way of the future Pros: the whiplash from the torque Cons: too much torque for the transmission |

If You Dont Have One Get One!! — My silverado is awesome, the lift and custom grille make it really pop out, it has awesome performance, it goes through lots of mess and takes it, it has lots of pep which makes it fun, it has horrible gas milage but oh well its a truck what do you expect. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: It is tough and fun to drive. Cons: There aint none |

The 2500hd — my 2500hd has the biggest motor to ever come from the factory in a stock light duty truck. it sports the vortec 8100 which is a 496ci big block. and it has the allison 1000 seires transmission which everyone knows is bullet proof, and it will pull WHATEVER you put behind it Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: WORKHORSE, roomy interior Cons: 12 mpg no matter what you do |

Outstanding — great acceleration, braking and handling built well but small things may pop off on interior interior and exterior great 21-22mpg highway bt suffers in city. rarely needs major mantenance unless u dnt take care of it. very fun to drive . Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.) Pros: lots of power great and handling for a large truck Cons: high fuel prices |

I am wavering between the 2021 Silverado High Country 2500 HD and the GMC Denali 2500 HD. They are essentially the same truck so I know I wont be disappointed, nor will any future buyer. Read More
