Very versatile and comfortable (many luxury items). Chevy in their infinite wisdom decided to use subpar steel and these cars are very prone to rust (not just fenders but frames, brake, BRAKE LINES!!). Very reliable engines, weak transmissions and way undersized brakes. These problems are possibly only GEN 1 (2002-2006) issues as I have not owned or even driven the GEN 2 (2007-2013). You would have to look at a crew cab LB truck to get somewhat near the functionality. Gas milage sucks as does many of its piers from that age. This improves in the latest gen. Not sure why Chevy decided to end this great design. Oct 27, 2020

Soft ride unless you modify suspension. Newer GM Avalanche get beter MPG. There are so many options on this model that you can carry adventure gear, haul construction materials, take your family to the movies, pull a 7000# travel trailer, or look good on the strip with all sorts of mods.
