I just reaplaced the rear main seal and now my check engine light is flaking and I am hearing a strange tapping sound any ideas?

Nothing. Just exactly what I bought it for. Good mileage on the road, 20-21. Great running with good acceleration. Light in the rear end for winter driving, but just added weight to the truck bed to get better traction in bad conditions.May 23, 2014

I love this truck. Comfortable Ride, very roomy, love the comfortable seats, good stereo, back doors make it easy for passengers. The only thing negative I can say is gas mileage for a daily commuter with 30 mile one way commute. Oct 22, 2013

I owned this car for roughly 4 years. I never had any major issues with it or breakdowns. It ran pretty smoothly and was reliable. The battery lasted over 10 years which was great! It was great for hauling items. Over all I really like this truck!Aug 03, 2013

Overall this truck has treated me great. Besides lowing a fuel pump a year after i bought it and 170,000 miles in it has been really reliable and almost no maintenance costs. Just pretty happy with the quality and feel of the truck as a whole. Apr 04, 2013

Performance: 18 miles per gallon on the highway. (Build Quality) - I have had to replace the fuel pump 2 times.
Appearance is great except for some cosmetic damage. Cost of Ownership is great, I only have 6 months left to pay for it.
Fun factor is I can go 4 wheelin' when I want to and can haul what i want when i want.May 28, 2009

I love my truck 100%. It has lots of power. It has a very nice ride. I have it accessorized to its max to my standards. I would have to say that the 2002 Chevy Pickups look better than the newer style Chevys. My truck is a one of a kind and I'm gonna run it till the engine blows.Aug 29, 2008

Performance - had the computer reprogrammed and it made a big difference on fuel MPG's and performance also exhaust, intake, plugs and wires. Highly recommended for best performance.
Build Quality - Good, so far no probs
Appearance - Did some easy mods to clean it up stock is ok
Cost - who buys a truck for MPG's anyway?
Fun Factor - Whatever I want it to do it does :) love it.
Pros: Looks great and goes anywhere I need it too.

I love my Silverado pickup! I wouldn't trade it for anything. I have not had one problem with this truck, but I think I'm the exception to the rule.
