Great Car — I love my car but it's green I wish it was blue or black. Very reliable family car, worried it may need a new clutch but hoping not yet, has a few rust spots but has under 100,000 miles which is awesome for a 2000. Pros: Low miles, very reliable, has large backseat for the kids to have room, drives very smooth Cons: may need a new clutch :( , has a few small rust spots |

A Great Fuel Saver — I took it from Bristol Va. area to Nashville Tn. on one tank of fuel and had some left when I got there. So if your looking for something to use Commuting to work every day then any of these Volkswagen Jetta TDI are one way to save money! Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: This car get's great fuel mileage and runs great and for a very small car it has a lot of power. Cons: Back seat area is small |

Love It. Had My Whole Life In It At One Moment. — This car is nice. If I only had the money to fix it up. put some eighteens on that bih. with some low low profile tires. new paint job. throw a stax for the inside. with 2 squared kickers, sick ass amp and a touch screen -_- but overall its a bad ass lil whip. still trucking along. ima just tune up that engine and it'll be like new (: Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: Easily, the best looking body on a Jetta. Cons: Needed some work. But what do you expect from a 13 yr old car. |

I Love This Car! — The cup holders and the keys are expensive to fix. I have had this car for a few months now and I'm very impressed with the overall quality of the car. The Jetta is a small, quick, little car that is safe and reliable.
Pros:
Drives great, good pick up, Cons: The upholds are awkward, and they break easily |

Fun Comfy Ride — I really liked the way this car handles. Not to mention the care looks really cool. Plus, it is much roomier than you would expect. I'm 5' 11 and can sit in rear seat comfortably. It is the perfect first car for some lucky son or daughter. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Comfortable, roomy for small car. A lot of options and features for small price. Reliable Cons: Parts can be expensive. |

Best Car I've Ever Owned — I’ve owned my Jetta going on 13 years (got it in October 2000) and have racked up over 100K miles. It has been so much fun to drive. I live and work in the Washington DC area and avoid driving to work like the plague. However, my job moved to an area were mass transit was not readily available. My Jetta made the daily commute almost a joy. When my job moved back to its previous location, I was almost sorry I didn’t have to drive to work. My car has done everything I’ve asked of it without hesitation. Takes off like a shot when I have to do a quick merge onto the highway or ambles happily along when I’m cruising back roads. Handles like a dream except when parallel parking. I get a real workout trying to park in a tight spot. The only real downside to this car is maintenance. The check engine light keeps coming on at disturbing regularity. As a foreign car, I expected it would be more expensive for up keep. But having to shell out several thousand dollars on what has become a yearly basis is a bit much. Overall, though, I will keep this car as long as I possibly can, I love it that much. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Performance and handling. Cons: Cost of maintenance. |

Jetta A Pretty Good Car — I havent had too many problems with this car. It gets around town fairly inexpensively on gas. I have owned it for over a year and have replaced the battery and fan motor. Its got over 150k miles on it so i feel that is pretty good. Its been worth the cost of buying it used. Although it may have a coolant leak now, it still seems that after 150k miles, it could be a lot worse! Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: Great car to zip around town in. Fun to drive. Haven't had a whole lot of trouble with it. Its got a lot of miles on it, and for the miles its been through, it does very well. Cons: Expensive when parts or service is needed. |

Sporty Looking — The only thing I disliked about this car was having a manual transmission versus an automatic. It gets great gas mileage, is sporty looking (I received lots of compliments on it) and is comfortable in all seasons. Handles great, too. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Great gas mileage Cons: manual transmission |

A Great First Car! Excellent For Commuting With Its High Mpg. — The turbo diesel helps you get up to speed quickly and the great handling builds confidence in driving. The interior fabric of the seats is soft and durable, and there is plenty of leg room even with a group of people riding along. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: The MPG is the best. Sometimes 40+ and an average of 32. Cons: The black interior and exterior can get uncomfortably hot. |

2001 Volkswagen Jetta Vr6 — This was probably the best driving car I have owned. It was fast and held the corners like glue. The sweet German transmission was smooth as silk.......until the differencial locked up and exploded......the only problem with this car was that it was very unreliable and was expensive and a pain to fix. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Great drive Cons: Unreliable |
