The 2001 Toyota Land Cruiser saw only a couple of changes, including the option of a DVD navigation system and an upgraded standard audio system.
The 2001 Toyota Land Cruiser came in one, well-equipped trim level. The engine was a 4.7-liter 230 horsepower V8. The only available transmission was a four-speed automatic, and the four-wheel-drive was permanently engaged. The '01 Land Cruiser seated five, but with the optional third row could seat up to eight. Fuel economy was about 14/16 mpg.
Drivers like the 2001 Toyota Land Cruiser because it is a rugged, off-road capable vehicle that also has a lot of luxury features and plenty of cargo space. The SUV is equally popular among outdoors enthusiasts and soccer moms. Drivers do complain that the vehicle gets poor gas mileage and is very expensive, but TLC loyalists like to point out that you get what you pay for.

Cab Chassis - work horse of the outback. 4WD. white. 2 tanks full range over1000k, diesel - naturally. Love our getaways, add fridge and swag and we're gone. great accel, not as good as new turbo obviously. looking to upgrade. Completely reliable. Nov 04, 2009

There's not much to tell. It's Land Cruiser, it works like a Land Cruiser, and look like a Land Cruiser. It's a perfect world, is'nt it?
The buid quality is fabelous, and the appearance is likely. The cost of ownership is tiny, so even the the funfactor is great.
Now, it has rolled 178.000 km, all services is made by Toyota, and there's no fuzz with it, what so ever. I'm happy!

Bought this car now 7 years ago and it has been incredible. Never had any maintenance charges from my dealer over $800 (major services) the vehicle now has 136,000 miles and with tune ups every now and then it starts the same way it did when I bought it. I have taken it from CT to SC every year and it is an awesome car for the trip. It is by far the best family vehicle I have ever owned. Jul 24, 2008
