Good Car For Anyone Who Like Quick 4 Doors. — 2001 Dodge Neon R/T Overall pretty good for a 4 door 4 cylinder car. Its pretty quick off the line but kinda slow on the long run. Hoping to build it up a lil bit maybe put a Turbo in it. Not a Highway car!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Looks sporty, moves quick in the streets

Cons: Not enough HP, Too small of an Engine, 5th Gear too Short

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: everything

Cons: nothing

Neons Get A Bad Wrap Due To The Type Of Clientile Who Own Them. If You Maintain It, It'll Last. — None. It's a great car. it has every option. Traction Control, Leather seats, Leather armrest, 5 speed manual transmission, woodgrain interior trim, heated mirrors, what more could someone want out of a Neon? It's a miniature loaded Chrysler 300 M.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fun, Spirited soul, Good gas mileage

Cons: None.

I Would Recommend This Car To A Friend, But Not Mine Because You Never Sell A Car To A Friend — strong brakes good acceleration drives straight as an arrow hubcabs squeek, has needed new belts and water pump per mileage recommendation, needed a new alternater nice clean appearence in and out nice mileage of about 21 mpgs city, and little maintenance considering its age car is verry fun to drive on long winding roads, i just wish people would learn how to mave out of the way since passing on curves isnt recommended

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: economical

Cons: how the back seat snaps in place through the body of the car and poorly aligns to the point of making an opening

Great First Car — The car isn't poorly built.. the only thing is paint. The Neon isn't the fastest but its fun to zip around in. It's pretty cheap not too expensive. I think this car is fun to drive. It could be worse.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It's cheap yet not hard to have fun with

Cons: It's a Neon.... not very cool

Car Isnt Too Bad — Not a bad car... it isnt the prittiest but it does it's job. It isnt the fastest either but hey it doesnt roll down hill... It doesnt cost much, which is a plus cuz its fun to zip around in.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Cheap and does what it does

Cons: Its a Neon... ugh

Neon — Its a great first time car. I love it. After 30 its pretty quick. Its a blue-ish grey color I've only seen a handleful of the same color before. Gas mileage is great about 30 to a gallon when the oil is changed (every 3000 miles). The inside is pretty nice, I try to keep it very clean.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Its just fun to drive. Its simple.

Cons: Breaks squeek when its wet or cold.

You Could Do A Lot Worse — This car was problem free for the first 100,000 miles, but now I'm having problems with corrosion killing parts of it little by little. I do live in Michigan, so that is a problem for a lot of cars. I think this generation is the best looking Neon; the first gen was a little small and the cars at the end of the second gen had an ugly Chrysler grill. Gas mileage isn't bad, but you won't get top performance out of the car either.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Solid daily driver

Cons: You will get no booty driving this thing
