I have always love grand ams. I owned a 96, 98, 2000, and a 2005. My favorite is the 2000 because its got all the goodies of the new model and all the basics from older model. Ive always wanted a VW Jetta, but my grand am is my go to for reliable cars.

Gave it a four stars because its 2022, but anyway love the car besides the gas tank size, went through hail and a hit/miss t-bone by a actual bear crossing the road, love my 3000$ purchased.

All In All An Ok Car — I hate clicking sounds on this car. I love the handling of this car. I like the fuel efficiency, I hate the cost off parts. I hate that the car has a chip in the key. I hate that the security causes problems on these cars

Pros: runs great

Cons: clicks

Awesome!!!! — Amazing, sleek, stylish, fast, reliable. This car is spactious. It performs amazing, acceleration is amazing the V6 engine is fast enough without being overbearing. The only repairs i had to do was to put in a new ignition switch. Appearance- SEXY!!! I have a burgandy colored car and it looks brand new and it is 12 years old.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: sound system--- stock and still makes you love your car

Cons: nothing really... i love it

Its A Nice Sporty Looking Car. Although I Will Never Puchace Anothe Grandam — This care that I have is a 2000 GrandAm SE 6cyl. 3.4 motor Overall, it is a money pit! I am not saying all GrandAM's are bad but this year of the car was NOT a good year. I have had mechanics tell me the same thing. I would recommend this car for maybe a short distance kinda car if you can get it cheap. This car has givin me nothing but problems. I would 30 mins. away from home and this car has left me stranded many times. I did get to know some of the towing guys real well. Sorry

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Factory sound system is good. Comfortable front seats. It gets up to speed quick.

Cons: Well.....I had to replace the transmission at 110,000 miles.  A week after I got the car I had to replace the air conditioning pump clutch. Fuel pump, thermostat 3 times (the thermostat is hard to get to) The controls for heat/air 1, 2 settings are out and #3 is going out. Window motor fried, power seat controls do not work, The clock radio read weird numbers at times. The electric wiring in these cars are awful. Water pump has been replaces 2x.  The shock system on my car is terrible.  Breaks and rotors wear out faster than normal.

Great Car, Love It! — I put about 30,000 miles per year on a car. This one has never let me down. The only reason it's not going onward and upward to 1/4 Million miles is that it has low compression on cylinder 4. Other than that, it's been a great car! It drives well, gets around well in snow (in missouri) and just runs, runs and runs some more!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: I've had this car for 8 years now. 240k miles on it now. it's been a great car!

Cons: nothing really to complain about...

Great American Made Car And I Would Recommend It To Anyone. — I love my Grand Am, while it's got its problems, it's a great car. Perfomance of this Grand Am is really great, this car gets up and goes. The car is really fun to drive and handles like a charm. I love the interior and exterior of the Grand Am and I really love the styling of the GT trim. I get 21mpg because of the mods I have on mine but they usually easily get over 27mpg.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Everything

Cons: Nothing

It's Going Bye Bye At Tax Time — I hate this car!!! The inside is ugly!!! The outside is ugly!!! It's plastic so you can not put it in the demo. It takes $40 to fill it and the gas gauge is quarter tank off and it needs a wheel barring.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It get's me from point A to B.

Cons: I Hate Everything About This Car!
