2000 Lincoln Navigator 4WDReview

I Love This Truck And It Will Hurt To Let It Go. — Overall, I loved the truck and it has served me well. I have traveled a great distance and have carried luggage and loads all over. It has provided me comfortable seating for long distances. If it were not for the rising fuel cost I would keep it. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Plenty of space, Almost glides on interstate, great horsepower, great sound system, highway fuel economy is great for a large SUV Cons: Fuel economy where stop and go is somewhat deficient |

Great Truck — Comfortable road vehicle, air suspension is awesome, much better ride than I ever expected even with 22" wheels. Great hauling capacity, I've put about a 1/2 cord in the rear and it cleaned up easily. Average about 13 mpg city driving/18 on the highway which is pretty good considering it's a 4x4. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: Love the looks and comfort of the Navi Cons: Gas consumption but that's to be expected |

An Excellent Value — This Navigator has been in the family since 2004 and belonged to a friend of the family before that. One thing is for sure, it can haul lots of people and their things in style. It's been very dependable with no engine or transmission issues. It went to Florida and back in July. It will be hard to see it go! Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: Room, style, power, towing Cons: low city mileage |

2000 Navigator — This is my wife's truck. it has good performance, very roomy, very nice appearance, fun to drive. We have owned the Gator for a few years now and over all really like it. I liked it so much I even bought myself one. I own a 2005 Navigator Luxury Edition. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: roomy Cons: fuel milage |

Navigator Good For The Whole Family — The Lincoln Navigator has a luxurious ride like a luxury sedan, can tow a boat like a truck, and carry 7 people in comfort like a van. It's a good SUV for those looking for a high grade interior, needs to tow stuff, and has a family. Pros: Navigation, heated and cooled seats, 7 passenger seating Cons: Acceleration, fuel economy, 4-speed automatic transmission |

Luxury And Style! — I wanted a big vehicle with all of the creature comforts. I also wanted something I could take camping and not need a trailer. I found the Navigator and fell in love with it. This thing had power everything and a nice big engine to boot. I thoroughly enjoyed cruising the streets behind the wheel of this SUV. Black with dark tinted windows and big chrome wheels - the perfect combination. Owner for 3 years, 8 months Miles Driven per Year:14,500 Pros: Large and in charge. Sat up nice and high. Cons: Sluggish due to vehicle weight. |

Power, Luxury, And Spacious... At Great Cost! — Where to begin? I have a love/hate relationship with this SUV. Having four kids, it's the only car I own that can transport everyone. The 12.4 mpg kills us, though. When the third row is up, the vehicle has little room for much cargo. This is why Ford lengthened the Navigator in later years. The airbag suspension rides awesome, and the 5.4L 32 valve Intech V8 has power in spades. Word to the wise: These SUV's will roll! Stopping.... that's a different story! ABS and weight make it handle well in bad weather. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: This 8,000 lb moster has power to spare. Have out run sports cars (stoplight to stoplight) with the wife and four kids in the car! Smooth ride, good AC, handles well for it's size. Back up sensor is great. Cons: Plastic interior parts: the reason Europeans laugh at American cars! Faux woodgrain ugly. When third row is down, very little cargo capacity. Poor visibility. FUEL ECONOMY TERRIBLE! |
