how can i fix 2000 f250 SD V10 fuse power loss?
I have no power to the fuse of my instrument panel so my running lights and instrument panel are not work. I just put in a new battery and now this. How can i fix it.

I like a lot a lot of things about this truck. I got 240k miles and still runs great. At few times I have abused this truck but never failed. 2 pallets of cement bags in the back weighing over 4200 pounds while towing a 3 axle trailer carrying 5 yards of sand and gravel mix traveling from San Bernadino to Victorville some 80 to 90 mile away doing 50 to 60 mph.Jul 24, 2014

Reliable, heavy duty and effective for towing. Fuel economy good. the big turbo diesel that is easy to maintain is its the best feature. all the rest is typical for the for the year and class. Doors leak as usual in its configuration, but not a serious distraction as it is utility.Jun 13, 2014

Its nice truck. The 5.4 I have in it dosent have enough power for how heavy
this truck is. It does fine with a load. Its just a little slow to get up to speed
regardless of whether or not you have a load on it. The suspension is really
stiff so it makes for a bit of a rough ride with put holes or a rough road. The

well I just bought the truck, it has 175,200 Miles on it, but there again it has the 7.3L Turbo Diesel and a 6 Spd. Standard Transmission. the body is a little rough, and it does cost, but to me it is all worth it... Oct 24, 2010

About the only thing I'd change about my truck would be the
lack of power mirrors and the color. The dark blue is
impossible to keep clean. Otherwise its pretty darned fun to
drive around in. Now if I could just get my dad to fix his truck

Pretty bad ass!! Bout to get a six in lift wit 37's...performance not great but lookin to get a stroked 5.4 to bump up the low end torque...fun to mud in but very heavy so it gets stuck a lot so it needs a winchJul 21, 2009

Awesome pickup with a Super-Chipped 7.3 Powerstroke that had serious nuts. Black, Lariat, Leather seats, 4-Door, 4WD, Shortbox; 18-23 MPG after it was chipped. Best brakes I've ever used. Very good stock sound system. One sweet ride I definetely wish I owned one.Jan 04, 2009

awesome truck, incredible power, great fuel mileage for a pick up truck.
Issues: the overhead console computer has gone out. Difficulty with the towing mirrors. clear coat coming off on box.
This is my first Diesel and i cant believe i waited this long to get one. I love the powerstroke engine. i think Ford really made a big mistake when they quit making the 7.3L. the 6.0 and 6.4 has nothing on the 7.3L Dec 26, 2008

it has plenty of power and capable of going almost anywhere or pulling anything you need. its a very well built truck and i havent had any problems with it. the appearance is pretty bad because it was my grandpas farm trcuk but trucks arent built to look pretty they're built to get the job done and it does a very good job at it. maintenance is fairly low since its a diesel. it gets around 16 mpg. its a blast to drive off road in 4x4 and and a six speed granny transmission.Oct 16, 2008

Pretty fast for a big truck due to a bully dog chip...also smokes like a freight train! It has 5 inch exhaust with a 6 inch tip. It also has KMC Diesel wheels wrapped in Nitto Terra Grapplers. Tinted out windows make the truck impossible to see in, which makes it a blast to drive.Aug 27, 2008

Bought in very good shape with 217k miles and runs very strong. Diesel is the way to go. Rides smooth for the size vehicle. Extremely long and not for the average driver, sometimes hard if not impossible to get out of a parking spot unless you back in. Jul 03, 2008

The 7.3 L is one hell of an engine it can take punishment of towing a 9,000 Lbs. boat up to the mountains for a weekend at the lake or racing all the ricers in town. the truck as a whole is sick its not a fall apart dodge and it feels like a truck as you dive it down a dirt road at 90 mph unlike a GM. The batteries drain down after the truck sits a couple days. Batteries are only 3 year old Interstates. Took it to my regular shop and they said the ECM was bad and replaced it. But the problem is still there. As long as I use it everyday it starts fine, but leave it for a couple days and the batteries are down too far to start it

I have a 2000 Ford F250 Superduty with a 6.8L V10 and auto transmission. Last night I was hauling a 600# ATV, and the transmission started whining between 45 and 60 MPH, but only under load. It quits if you let off the gas. Shifted into neutral while rolling, and the noise stopped. Does anyone have any ideas what to look at?
