Great Overall — great camping and road trip car got good gas mileage 18 to 19mpg. 4wd was solid and gave grea handling feel. commute car was alright far trips cost gas more than a hybrid or smaller car. interior was well trimmed lots of leather.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: handling ride comfort and  braking good/proficient great overall car would buy again should not have sold

Cons: bad motor and tranny from get go but it was well used, repair cost and finding a mechanic was a pain

Love My Truck — this has been a graeat truck my sister used for many years and had small children took this car across country works just fine still no leaks almost 9 yrs later i would recommend this car to anyone she is good on gas and always starts right up minor problems with dooor locks make it a li unberabvle after awhile but easy to fix

Not Bad, But Not Good Either — This car was in my family for 14 years. It had its fair share of problems, and towards the end of its life, it was in bad shape. But after all was said and done, the car served my family well :) It had almost no power, but plenty of torque. It accelerated slower than my Honda Accord 4-cyl!! The brakes felt like pushing on blocks of wood, and the handling sucked really. The build quality was not great, it had plenty of rattles and squeaks that no one could figure out. Looks-wise, it was decent... nothing special. after the warranty expired, it got expensive to maintain including $900 to fix a radiator, and $500 to fix a stabilizer bar. Now, because of this car's unreliability, it was fun to drive because I just didn't know what would happen.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: The sound, the fun trying to fix it

Cons: everything else

Great Family Car — good on gas, parts are easy to find, has room to go an long trips our just driving around town easy for any one to drive and i like the 4x4 when off road . Take one for a test drive you will like it

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: lots of storage space

Cons: changing spark plugs is a pain on one side

Its A Truck — its a truck it does the job that it needed to do. the only complaint is it is getting old and tired. otherwise I do like the truck. we had plenty of hours of fun running through the sand at Silver Lake sand dunes.

Just Bought A 2010, Last Model Before Downsize In 2011 — 173,000 miles and still ticking. Only car running in Chicago Blizzard (22 inches snow) in 2011. Great space for cargo. Only missing 3rd row seats. Loved the pwr lock in back, not on 2010 version. Needed new interior for customers thus the 2010 purchase..

Pretty Good Suv — Liked everything. Really no complaints at all. It ran well for 10 plus years. Almost no repairs were needed. Minor thermostat issues at 40K miles. That is about it. The more I think of it except for being 10 years old and looking a bit out of date it was an excellent all round car for city and highway. Feel safe in getting one.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Pretty good car.  Did not drive it much, but it would have gone the distance.

Cons: A bit smaller than the luxury SUV of the 2004 plus variety.  But, it held it own.

Fantastic Deal On A 2000 Ford Explorer With Low Miles!!!! — Loved driving this car in any weather! Never fear the rain with the new tires and size of this wonderful SUV! It has served as a wonderful second vehicle, and incredibly reliable. Low miles due to only being second owner. Very well maintained interior and exterior! Could use a little paint touch up on top near the roof rack but other than that clean and clear car!!!!

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Wonderful vehicle that will suit a small family. No problems and very reliable! Carries roof racks, kayaks, canoes, and many more things if you like to explore!!!

Cons: Fuel efficiency for long commutes. Averages 17mpg. If treated right will give you 20!

Cheap Car — The car had a nice engine, good power etc. Though it handled like the earlier Explorers. Interior had enough room for two comfortably, but lacked the SUV space expected. The price was right, so I bought it. Though it wouldn't happen again.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: The power in the engine

Cons: Poor handling
