Everything You Could Hope For In A Car — I absolutely love my car! It has been extremely reliable, the maintenance and repair have been minimal. It is beautiful, comfortable and fun to drive. It will go from 0 to 60 FAST. Excellent handling whether going 45 or 85! Gas mileage is pretty ok too.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: I was the 2nd owner, bought it in 2000 with 3,000 miles and never had it in the shop for anything major.

Cons: It is 14 years old, it is getting tired and worn out

Gorgeous — I do not dislike anything about these cars. I also own a 1974 version. They ride nice, look sharp and handle wonderful. My last one was even good in the snow. We have a family of 5 and even being only 2 doors did not affect anything for us. These cars have always been dependable.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Everything is fantastic about this car

Cons: none :)

1 Of The Best Cars I've Ever Owned For An Every Day Driver — Bought the car in Nov 2000, added ground effects in feb 01 and just customized it a little bit here and there. Paid off 2 years early and took it off the road and purchased a 97 Cadillac Eldorado in 2006. Put the Monte back on the road and drove both cars until 2008, when I traded in the Eldorado for a Pontiac GTO. I think the Monte started becoming jealous as she started acting up, with a radiator or a flat tire and then the exhaust (which were the same flowmasters I put on in 2001) She was a good car, but I wanted a 2006 Monte SS and I finally bought 1 in July 2012 and traded this Monte in for the same color.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Loved this car, owned it for 12 years. Best maintainence free car I've ever owned....besides normal wear and tear. Traded it in july 2012 with 206K miles on it. Still running strong, but I wanted a 2006/2007 Monte Carlo SS with the LS4 V8.

Cons: Absolutely Nothing!

My Monte — like runs quiet, shifts smooth, comfortable, good body, nice color, plenty of power to get it around and then some, large trunk, good mpg dislike not good on ice, takes forever to get warm, wheel hop, and it is difficult for people to get into the back seat

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: easy to drive

Cons: abs and no traction control

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: nice looking great inside and nice sound system

Cons: its 10 years old and is going to need some work soon

My Monte — Love the ride, love the look, i just wish mine was an 04 with a supercharger. I've made it look very unique and i loving driving it. I've done a bit of aftermarket such as rims, exhaust, decals, stero, intake and just basic stuff.

Pros: All black with just enough chrome and silver to break it up

Cons: not supercharged
