My First Love! — i absolutely love this car no major work ever had to be done, just normal maintenance! performance from the v6 is definitely plenty! enough passing power, quick, stylish, comfortable, and it looks great sitting at a show! couldn't of ask for anything better!

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: everything!

Cons: bigger back seat but then again it is a sport car only ment for 2 people!

Love This Car — Ton of fun to drive around, you always feel in control. nice tight steering wheel, easy to work on the front of the engine, never had any major issues with mine. Great daily commuter car for around town or even on the high way. The 5 speed is a great transmission and the 500 watt monsoon stereo system sounds great.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fun to drive, reliable, great commuter, quite a bit of power for a v6 and the car looks great.

Cons: fuel economy, cargo capacity limited and not a great family car it is a sports car.

Fun Car To Drive With The T-tops Out. — There is nothing that I do not like about this car. It is fun to drive has good power and acceleration. It has the Corvette LS1 engine in it to enhance the driving experience. This is a good project car since it has never been modified, there can be a lot of extra power added to it.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: This Camaro has been a very reliable car since I purchased it in 2002. Recently replaced all four tires and brakes.

Cons: It is not getting any younger and some of the plastic interior has started to wear. Still in good shape for its age.

Sporty Almost As Fast And 1/2 The Price Of A Corvette — Bought this as a sporty weekend car with a manual 6 speed trans but love it so much I find myself driving it almost daily. Driven on vacation and it rides smoothly on most roads but a little stiff on bumpy back roads. Managed to get over 27 mpg on the highway even running mid-grade fuel. Really moves when you floor it and have a tank of premium not much out there for its price will pass you.

Pros: Love this car its fast nimble sporty and gets 20-27 mpg. Nice cruising in the summer with the T-tops out. Leather interior is nice and comfortable on long trips.

Cons: Interior noise level a little loud but not disturbing limited trunk/storage space and visibility when backing up not very good

My 4th And Best Camaro So Far !!! — The looks and the power and handling of this car is right up there with the more pricier sports cars.... With the 6 speed manual transmission it is very fuel efficient for the size of the motor....but of course when driven more aggressively ....say bye bye to the Miles Per Gallon !!! All in All..if you want a Camaro and dont want to spend big bucks....The 1998 - 2002 LS1 Camaro is for you !!!! :)

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: Looks ...Power....easy maintenance

Cons: Front seats could use to go back more for taller people

Camaro Still The Heart Of Usa — Great all around car that needs its little tweaks from a few aftermarket parts to make the performance, brakes, hadling, and fuel economy up to date. As long as you do the scheduled maintenance when the time calls it has no problems. Appearance is good not great an aftermarket body kit does a lot depending on your choice of style. Maintenance is a little on the costly side on certain parts. Gas mileage depending on transmission is good to bad.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: The performance aspect of this car is amazing, along with comfort on long drives and a great sound system.

Cons: The 4l60E is just not the right transmission in these cars. Needs to be a 5 speed automatic or 6 speed manual to get the fuel economy needed.

Great Muscle Car With Updated Comfort — Have owned 7 Camaro's so far and this is the first 4th gen car and by all means is better than any other one's I've owned. Not the fastest one but the easiest and most comfortable too drive, has plenty of guts with the LS1 and 6 speed manual. Has over 130000 miles still runs great no leaks or oil consumption.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Looks good drives great handles great Love it !!!!

Cons: poor trunk space needs 91+ octane to run its best

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: great proformance

Low Miles, Hot Ride — This was my 3rd Camaro, and my most beloved of them all. (Had a '84, '91, and this one) I love the look of this body style and how sleek it is. The power is awesome, even though it is an automatic it will get up and go and leave some rubber too. Loved everything about it, just need to buy our daughter a "kid car".

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: extremely smooth ride and can get 30 MPG on the highway

Cons: Dash has crack from the FL sun

2000 Camaro — this car is a great car for someone looking for good fuel economy but also some power. This car is very well built and has held together very well for a car with 160,000 miles on it. It looks great and is a blast to drive.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: everything

Cons: no visibility of the front end, but you get used to it, rockers tend to rust over time, but easy repair.
