I owned 3 park Avenues cars since 2000. I found that Park Ave is one of the best cars to drive on winter during snow, because it’s a front wheel drive car. It’s large and comfortable.

The 2000 Buick Park Avenue is a very reliable car. I have owned Buick Park Avenues exclusively since 2005. I have had 3 of the 2000 models, 2 of which were the Ultra Version (supercharged 3.8L engine). I have not purchased any as a new vehicle; the cars already had mileage between 100,000 and 129,000. What is one of the most unusual characteristics is the fuel mileage. While being the largest sedan (about 3800 lbs. curb weight for the base model) that Buick offered at the time, based on actual manufacturers specifications, it would get about the same fuel mileage of 17 city/27 highway as the much smaller Buick Regal! My experience has been considerable better, getting at least 30mpg highway even at a cruising speed of 72 mph. The car rides smoothly like a Cadillac, but repair/replacement parts are much less expensive. I do maintenance and repair on my vehicles, so i am purchasing the parts myself. I currently own a 2000 Park Avenue base model as well as an Ultra, and a 2003 Park Avenue base model .

I like everything about this vehicle. It starts with the very reliable 3800 engine. The comfort is great and it hugs the road for a smooth ride. I could go on and on. Just test drive one and youll see.

2000 Ultra — car runs great its the 3.8l v6 strong as hell plus it comes equipped with a supercharger its a week one but changing of the pulley would help that...its a great cruiser for around town n has a big trunk for subs if u want that...and is low key from cops lol

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: supercharger

Cons: week supercharger n needs new speakers maybeeven a rebuild of the tranny

Buick — it is really sharp. it is a buick so it has been very reliable and dependable. it gets fairly good gas, about 25mi per gallon. I bought it used with 123000 mi and wasn't anything wrong with it. It is so comfortable to drive

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Everything

Cons: the way it moves when you hit a big bump
